  Neither champ counters energize. They deal with passive power gain, not combat power rate. When it comes to passive power gain though, I'd probably go Chavez especially since both are unduped

  They'll both be good if someone is gaining power from an ability like Power Gain buffs.
  
  However, neither of them can affect combat Power gain via Energise nodes.
  
  You want someone with Power Lock or Steal, or who can strike the opponent without giving them power. Or a really good Taunt champion, like Deathless She-Hulk to keep the opponent throwing specials, and using that power up.
  
  Dr Doom would be great, since he works really well with an opponent at high power; and can steal Power Gain buffs if he's Awakened.
  
  White Tiger can work well against opponents with Energise, too.
  
  And Prowler can do well against Energised opponents, since he can Taunt, drain leftover power, then counter the opponent whilst they're briefly Power Locked post-Special.
