If the realm event is not grindable many people are going to lose

Ab_SamadAb_Samad Member Posts: 400 ★★
I'm like 99℅ sure that incursions are not a grindable. A large portion of people including myself do not enjoy raids, AW and BGs. So what will happen to us? Are we going to lose the points?

The rewards are nice, but it’s not the end of the world if you don’t get them. Kabam seems to have found a good balance of “worth doing” and “doesn’t set you back months if you don’t”

What gamemode are you playing if you do not enjoy bgs, war or raids. Do you enjoy aq?

I'm on and off kind of player. I usually play story, EQ and prepare for end game content. For BG and AW you need to have specific champs on high rank that's the reason I don't like these game modes

And off and on player should not expect to receive the top rewards of every event
Ok boomer thanks for letting me know what should I expect or not

That's the whole problem though - it doesn't seem worth doing unless you're already doing it. If you are already playing BGs/Incursions/AW/etc, then these are nice extra rewards that actually don't really do much for your account (a few 7-stars and a few sig stones).

The rewards that might make it worth doing are set at higher milestones, which pessimistically I don't expect us to be able to reach.

If you don't play these modes, then you would have to engage in gamemodes those players might not like, just for a few 7-stars and a few sig stones. For these players, the effort-to-reward ratio might not be worth it. And if these players don't contribute points, then the more rewarding higher milestones are definitely out of reach.

I'm 7.8 million valiant and I play everything in mcoc but even I am not confident in getting 285k points bcos of a lack of official info

I have to wait for the new content to drop before I can calculate roughly how many points I can possibly get

I will say this: the ways to contribute points leans quite heavily towards late-game players. It probably wouldn't have hurt to have a few more mid-level ways to contribute for other people to engage with. Yeah, they might not get the top rewards, but they'd be able to at least participate in the summer-long event in some kind of meaningful way. Since this is essentially a Summoner Appreciation Calendar replacement, appreciating that there are more than Valiant/endgame Summoners wouldn't have been a terrible idea.

Agreed. If this was an effort to push more players to raids, BGs and war, they probably needed much better carrots in the rewards.

It's going to be really grindy for rewards that aren't account changing for my account

Plus you need to depend on the realm hitting the milestones target as well

Yes, you'll lose a vast majority of points and end up just getting to this milestone or maybe a little further depending on what you're capable of doing.

Also calling someone a boomer for telling you the facts is a great way to lose all the tiny amount of credibility your argument might have had instantly.

This is the most ridiculous "reward" I've seen. I personally don't care which champion gets buffed, but it is fun to vote and see who ends up on top after the entire community votes.

Voting on Champion buffs is supposed to be a fun community building exercise, not something where you need to play AW Showcase, complete Valiant gauntlet, complete a Special Quest, etc just for a chance to reach 50k points. This "reward" actually seems to say that only Valiant level players should be able to dictate what champions should get buffed (by having extra votes or something), as opposed to the entire community.

The event is called "Summoner's Fest", not "Valiant Fest."

Ok zoomer, ask you boomer dad for pocket money to spend in game.
And again don't expect to get rewards for not playing the game.
    You are welcome.

And of course this means you deserve highest rewards in this event.

Exactly the issue. My math only gets us to ~200k. (Call me crazy but I don’t think we should have to be doing math in the first place to figure out how to do an event, they should just communicate properly).

Add on to that that people like me are losing out on a week of points from Raids and can’t do anything about it. We had no idea this would be a requirement until the event dropped the same day raids already started.

No, it's a pretty low milestone that's easily accessible for non-valiant players. If you're gonna complain about milestones, complain about the higher ones. This one is here so that the people who actually play the game are the ones who dictate what champs get buffed.

Math is always involved in bigger events.
Doesn't matter if you are not doing it because someone will. And that information will be accessible around the community.

Add on top of that if someone is not going to take part in a raids month which was announced 2 months ago, it pretty much falls on them.
Sure there was no announcement for realm points, but raids in itself is big due to its associated rewards.

Since when is choosing not to do something equal to losing? Wth is wrong with this generation.

I think Kabam’s incentives around raids have been pretty clear for a long time. If you want top rewards, they expect you to play raids as part of your overall activity.
