If the realm event is not grindable many people are going to lose

I'm like 99℅ sure that incursions are not a grindable. A large portion of people including myself do not enjoy raids, AW and BGs. So what will happen to us? Are we going to lose the points?

I will say this: the ways to contribute points leans quite heavily towards late-game players. It probably wouldn't have hurt to have a few more mid-level ways to contribute for other people to engage with. Yeah, they might not get the top rewards, but they'd be able to at least participate in the summer-long event in some kind of meaningful way. Since this is essentially a Summoner Appreciation Calendar replacement, appreciating that there are more than Valiant/endgame Summoners wouldn't have been a terrible idea.
Agreed. If this was an effort to push more players to raids, BGs and war, they probably needed much better carrots in the rewards.

If they want to push more players to those modes then incentivise year round or make content easier for specific ones.

I tried Battleground's out months ago but could not win a single fight due to roster inability against another stacked player in the lowest rank of bronze.
For that mode specifically, make a lower few tiers of bronze to ease players into how the mode works and allow them to win a bit and not throw 50 bricks into your face expecting you to be able to get back in to take 50 more.

I'm 7.8 million valiant and I play everything in mcoc but even I am not confident in getting 285k points bcos of a lack of official info

I have to wait for the new content to drop before I can calculate roughly how many points I can possibly get
Exactly the issue. My math only gets us to ~200k. (Call me crazy but I don’t think we should have to be doing math in the first place to figure out how to do an event, they should just communicate properly).

Add on to that that people like me are losing out on a week of points from Raids and can’t do anything about it. We had no idea this would be a requirement until the event dropped the same day raids already started.
Math is always involved in bigger events.
Doesn't matter if you are not doing it because someone will. And that information will be accessible around the community.

Add on top of that if someone is not going to take part in a raids month which was announced 2 months ago, it pretty much falls on them.
Sure there was no announcement for realm points, but raids in itself is big due to its associated rewards.
The announcement of raid month is irrelevant. I don’t like raids, and I was fine with missing out on the ANNOUNCED rewards.

There was no announcement of the realm event rewards or requirements for getting points until the second it dropped, which happened to be the exact same time the first week of raids started. I totally would’ve toughened up and done raids if I would’ve KNOWN I needed to. Im not one of the people saying I should get full rewards if I’m not doing all the content. The issue is that I didn’t even know I needed to do this content until it was literally too late for me to be signed up.

Of course this is all irrelevant if there is another repeatable way to grind points. But it doesn’t look like that’s the case.

Yeah, it seems like people who don’t enjoy what Kabam considers to be important game modes are SCREWED.

Again, why should you get the top rewards when you aren't even playing most of the game modes? If all your doing is the DSE and eq/sq, then you are skipping half the work everyone else is doing and therefore, you don't deserve those same rewards. You get the rewards equal to the time you put in, which again is half.

I completely agree and I don’t understand why this is so hard to process. If you don’t participate in all the events, you don’t get all the rewards. If you care about the rewards, try playing a part of the game you don’t typically. If you don’t care about the rewards, you don’t need to fully participate.

Nah that was a "test" event and it showed how some people can be. Do you forget the "Oh I am just opening 1k to maximize my rewards in case we hit milestones"

I think the strength of the crypt event was in its simplicity. Just play a specific game mode, die often, get points / rewards.

I think there are only 2 events in August that might have need more info.

From what it looks like there's a fixed amount of points and no way to go above that except spending money, we still don't know the max amount but a guardian was saying it's about 300k if you do literally everything but we still have no info or confirmation from kabam. They haven't said anything about this event, the only thing we know for sure is that they're trying to money grab as much as possible from people going for the bastion title and is nothing new considering kabam lately, this event is just a sneaky way to get even more money from the whales lol, whales are getting milked so hard by kabam and I wonder how long they'll keep spending at this rate.

Unclear if it requires all chests from all Nightmare Raids (or just normal Raids) and Twitch drops.

Agreed, but I’m not sure all of that is required. The entire event feels a bit like a “discover it for yourself” thing.

It strikes me as odd to have a Realm event that restrictive, but I suppose the idea was to push Raids. Most of the other things required are part of the normal monthly for Paragon+ players.
