At a loss with the summoner fest event

We can see now that all these rewards are not repeatable. There is literally no way of achieving the top milestones, in fact you can’t reach any of the 7* items at all even if you do absolutely everything.

How are we supposed to push this event to the decent rewards? It’s so frustrating not to have any idea.

There are 300,000 total earnable points, so yes you can reach the top milestone, even if you miss a few.

5% margin of error for folks is pretty pathetic. Additionally, how is a grind event turned into grinding only wallets? There is no way to farm points? Just feels like the broadcast a fun event geared at grinding in the game into a job to achieve a low rank and no chance at competing for a higher rank unless you spend $1,000s? I get the banquet event being ranked for spending but now more events are turning into ranked based on spending? Is there a line at which the over monetization actually costs Kabam? I assume the data says no, but that must be a lagging indicator? Will be interesting to see what the top spend is here and moving forward into banquet. Maybe an attempt to level load revenue? More predictable for staffing I’d guess but man, what a miss on the fun aspect of a competitive grind.

That means you have to do raids to get a lot of the top rewards. Should've been told before the start because not all alliance do raids.

Does that include (1) 100% chests from Nightmare Raids and (2) all Twitch drops?

An event with ranked rewards where there is a fixed amount of points is an absolutely insane idea (yes, I’m sure they’ve done it before, but I feel my points still stand)

What happens when multiple people get maximum points,

A tie - that makes no sense then for why there’s a rank 1 and not brackets

A race for each point - I highly doubt the competency of this company in keeping track across the whole event for how fast each top player gains rewards and accurately determine this at the end

A race for the last points - that means a player that could be first to get every point before the last could lose out just because they’re busy the moment the last deal drops (let’s face it it will be a deal that determines who maxes out first)

I really don’t see any other way of ranking out at the end for the top spenders

Before someone says that I’m just complaining because I won’t win, I KNOW I won’t, I won’t be buying any of the deals and am not doing Nightmare, but this whole system just seems insane to put your game and top payers through

Are you sure about that, I looked and I can’t see any fest points in the in-game store and all the deals in the webstore with points are limited as far as I can see

That's all it is. The whales will spend hundreds or thousands dollars to beat the rest of us by a few hundred points in an event that requires 285k. Sure would be nice if there was an optional way to be rewarded for more than just what we spend, but alas, time and energy matters not.

Sure, there are more than a few bugs plaguing new content, but you’d think the team would expect that by now. It’s hard to understand why it seems there’s been so little interaction.

I saw that bottom thing on IG. Can’t remember the caption exactly but it seemed to imply it was some kind of “issue.”

Probably just some random marketing language. But if there’s an MCOC magazine out there that I don’t know about…

The communication on this was really weird.
People could have moved alliances based on knowing the scoring system. The drops? They claimed on the stream they were just a test. Turns out its like 7.5k points if you got em and wait to claim them after the event went live 🤣

Is there a way we can get a breakdown of the 300,000 potential points? I’d like to be able to make educated choices on what I can skip.
Also a question for everyone (I must have missed the announcement):
I saw in the webstore that if you buy one of the unit deals you get a minuscule amount of fest points, certainly nothing of consequence, is there going to be other offers points will be attached to?
I appreciate the ability to work as a community to gain rewards. I just wish it wasn’t so vague.

So if the max total earnable points is 300,000. I have two questions:
1) Why is the max rewards only achievable to players that can do valiant EQ and Nightmare Raids? I thought this was meant to be the annual summoner appreciation event but this seems pretty exclusive for the realm event rewards.
2) How are there rank rewards if you can’t earn more than 300,000 points? So all of the valiant players who do nightmare raids and the rest of the items will get the #1 rank rewards?
