Spidey supreme special punish

So on the middle lane of next week's nightmare raids, Spidey supreme is the last mini boss meaning we either have to punish heavy or specials. Is there any way to punish Spidey's specials or will I just have to bait out heavy?

You'll just have to purposely activate his invisibility so it times out before his specials. So it's possible, but definitely annoying. Baiting out heavies will definitely be easier.

I double checked the announcement and it wasn't in there. Hopefully we will be pleasantly surprised. His invisibility will probably be nothing compared to the bugs we will probably have anyway.

If they don't that's gonna suck bad for the punishing specials tasks.. agh

That's a fair point. Maybe they will remove the grit and replace it with a True Focus passive or something, since all of the opponents have invisibility or falter.

Not only will he keep his miss mechanic, he’ll also gain indestructible and unstoppable after he finishes a special attack.

They’re almost certainly going to replace the Grit node with Vigilance for anti-miss like they did with the Professor X Raids.

The more annoying part is gonna be that Spidey Supreme’s specials are just straight-up difficult to punish. Tbh I’ve been under the impression that they are genuinely unpunishable without some sort of Miss/Unstoppable ability that lets you avoid or power through the hits. You’re probably just gonna hav to build role force off of punishing heavies even if you can counter the Miss.

Actually, rereading the Raid Boss notes, Spidey Supreme’s ability to trigger Miss off of mediums is just outright disabled so at least you won’t get hit for trying to punish his heavies with a medium without disabling the Astral Form.

Speaking from experience trying to use Serpent against Necro Spidey Supreme, Serpent’s power gain getting stolen and potentially outright reversed is pretty annoying. I don’t think the easy Miss counter is worth it.

I am more concerned for spot he didn't get any changes when with certain chps you need to be aggressive but with spot gaining spot charges even on hits will make the fight long and don't forget that untouchable will definitely cost us revive as as it inflicts instant rupture on miss
