Assignments are just a suggestion.

So our alliance just does one bg for raids everytime it comes up and we have some assignments for the entire alliance. Why is it that someone can just bypass their assignment and join where they want?

We just had a player that was new to the alliance jump into our raid group despite being assigned elsewhere... Now one of our members is missing out on their rewards that they've been waiting to get in for since the format started.

Is there a way to correct this or hard lock players into their groups? Or is there a way to remove them? I'm guessing not with the ticket cost.

I don't see the point in adding assignments if regular members can just bypass them anyway. Seems like a pointless waste of Dec team resources to add into the game to serve no real purpose besides telling the braindead "are you sure you want to go here when you're assigned there"

Haha. Similar story here. He took my my path, used up all of his revives on the first Thanos with a 6R3 Nick Fury and then was out of commission. Managed to do about 20% which is something I guess...

It just feels especially bad because someone just lost out on half a 7* because this guy isn't even thronebreaker. The rewards are undeserved AND not worth the cost of admission anyway.

    Truth! Assignments are completely useless.

All it really is is a yellow box on the bg you're supposed to join, and yet, alot of people still don't get it.

I concur. What's the point to have group assignments if can easily be bypassed? Should have an option to "lock" assignments for Leaders to enable. Caused a few issues in my Alliance resulting some heavy-hitters leaving (and being booted.)

Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode..."“so you know how to take the reservation, you just don’t know how to hold the reservation. And that’s really the most important part about the reservation… it’s the holding, anybody can just take them”.

I once kicked a player before raids ended, joined a path already completed despite being assigned a separate path, just didn't care. "Just a game not that deep" ye neither should the rewards be that deep for you then, pettiest thing I've done in a long time.

The guys who ruin war and raids for other members should be kicked unless it was a genuine mistake.

Sometimes it is better to be able to change bg when smbd can't play for some unexpected reason and you the group needs cover the missing player.
Is there any reason to not run 3bgs raids?

This thread is over a year old and there's currently another one that was started asking for a similar battle group lock feature you could have commented on.

Understandable. To each it's own Alliance I guess. Hence, why I suggested a selectable option for Leader to enable/disable as they see fit. Unfortunately not everyone in our Alliance is "RAID-ready". :/
