breakdown of doom cycle and why this type of gameplay needs to go away forever.

the game mode isn’t fun to me, some people may think it is because everyone is different but the fact is doom cycle has no place in mcoc. it needs to go entirely.
zero champion knowledge required – mcoc is about mastering kits, counters, and synergies. doom cycle throws all that out the window. you're just tapping to pump numbers.
no actual combat – it’s a completely different game genre slapped onto mcoc for quick monetization. you could replace doom with a cookie clicker skin and it would function the same.
progression is fake – the “build-up” mechanic is just a grind loop padded with timers, delays, and paywalled tickets. there’s no strategy. it’s manufactured difficulty.
ticket system is predatory – limited runs + paid tickets = straight monetization of frustration. kabam knows it’s bad, but as long as people spend to skip it, they’ll keep doing it.
low-effort event, high-profit bait – the entire thing screams "how cheap can we go and still make money?” it’s recycled design, low dev cost, and a fast cash-in.
people paying for it are the problem – as cheap as it is, if you’re dropping cash to speed through this, you’re sending kabam the exact message they want: "make more of this garbage." stop enabling it.
this isn't just “trash” it's actively bad design, and the only thing worse than the mode is pretending it's okay just because it has decent rewards. i care about gameplay not just watching rng auto fights and paying to skip content.
i've loved this game for nearly a decade, please don’t ruin it.

It also gives good rewards for minimal effort so won't advice to ignore.
acting like that’s fine is how we keep getting more of this lazy design.
Ik they are experimenting, so that's why we should give a lot of negative feedback so they won't make this permanent.
Seen plenty who spent a dollar or 5 just because they want to be done with this mode asap and they don't have to open it no more.
All these guys are enabling this mode. They'll bring more modes again in future so players can spend $5-10 out of spite and fomo.
Heck even I was at the verge of dropping $5. Thanks to my subconcious, I didn't. Instead, I went out and bought animal treats (cats/dogs/birds) for around $15. I buy animal food regardless of this fomo micro-tansaction BS trap.
The strays and the birds sends thier massive Regards to Kaboom, as they will get to enjoy new treats alongside their regular nutrition.

I have since last Wednesday when it was released,..did one run of it for 15-20 minutes and I haven’t been back since,.,and I won’t for the remaining tine it’s available.
I don’t think the rewards make it worth playing the mode,.,(it’s that bad),.,so i don’t.

i’m pointing out that kabam jammed valuable, top-tier rewards into garbage content specifically to force players — especially competitive ones — into engaging with it, whether they like it or not. It’s not about skipping it, it’s about how this tactic degrades the game design and sets a horrible precedent.
kabam’s entire goal with this kind of content is to test how little effort they can put in and still get engagement by attaching bait-tier rewards. players like you ignoring it does nothing if thousands more cave and buy arcade tickets.
As for all the whining, if you don't like it don't do it, miss out on the rewards nobody's forcing you to do anything you don't want to do lol.

I play this game seriously, so do other people you just can't fathom the fact that some people actually liked something you disliked. You have the mental aptitude of a six year old, grow up and accept that some people will like the things you don't like, which is perfectly fine.
not whether or not i need to do it to get it the rewards, i don’t think we need any more content like this in the game.
