Doubt regarding Recruitment Event

Since both week 3 clash and recruitment events end on the same time, does it mean recruitment results are calculated until week 2 only?
When clash event ends, there's some delay in rewards, we claim that and it updates recruitment rewards.
It recruitment event goes away immediately, we won't get to collect the week milestone rewards from clash tokens.
So there should have been a day of delay atleast for recruitment event to end.
Or m i thinking wrong?
