Since others have dissed the Kabam originals, I'm going to stand up for them.
Guillotine, Guilly-2099, Morningstar and Purgatory are a great quartet, who had a fabulous story arc (which, personally, I did read, and enjoyed). All four are decent, playable champions who 'fit' very well into the game. Although Morningstar could use a Tune-up...
Chee'ilth is a Kabam original, and one of the best Skill champions in the game. To be honest, as a character, she's better than the majority of Marvel's actual native American characters...
Overseer is such a good champ, it's easy to forget that he's an original Kabam variant on Hulk. Likewise Galan, as a variant on Galactus. Other fun variants would be Venompool, Goldpool, and Silver Centurion; plus a smattering of Mash-up champs that it would be fun to see again, some time.
The Deathless chase was brilliant - as said above, one of the best-designed things Kabam has done. All the champs are good, the only slightly weak link being Vision, who's getting rebalanced.
So, whilst I agree with the premise that Eidols aren't as good as other Kabam originals, and the Eidol chase isn't as good as the Deathless chase, let's just remember that actually: they've set a very high bar.
And the Eidols being 'not as good as' the Deathless doesn't mean that they're bad.
What pisses me off even more besides unnecessary monetization is how the Eidols have the same problem as other Kabam original, they wilk just fade in obscure once this chase ends and they go for the basic pull
You have Vincent working in the dialogues and are pretty good but let's be honest,98% of the players don't read the dialogues and i hate how is just said and not show
Solvarch for example is mentioned by Scarlet Witch the half of her were frozen with faces of despair and the other half was burning in pain IN A DESTROYED KRAKOA , dude just made Genosha 2.0 and we just have dialogues,at the final battle it's said he one shot everyone with a blast of his core after Absorbing the energy of the battlerealm to a point the sky became a void
Guilly 2099 release EQ for example had a cutscene between her and modern guilly having a dinner and the swords taunting each other, last scene is just ther home with some damage taken floating ina asteroid
People keep saying he looks like Megatron,i would love him to have megatron voice in his dialogues because he screams a lot
Guilly family,Ægon,Galan, The Symbiotes, corrupted variations, Battle world factions
this is basicly a deeper rant version of your second point,It's so frustrating how much potential there is in the battlerealm but it's stuck in a mobile game with a company that themselfs don't realy know what to do
I agree with your points about the narrative. It feels like there’s so much they want to show us and I really wish we could actually see it instead of just reading text boxes and imagining it ourselves.
What most disappoints me is the fact we don't have anything about the galactus horde that Galan takes care off with the world tree, imagine a group of various type of Galactus with different forms in line and groups talking while waiting their turn to eat
