Alliance war node 49 bug

Hey ..so i am facing some bug ig on the 49th node in the alliance war which is defended by serpent. the node says i cant gain any power until there is some damaging effect on the defender. i am using negasonic against him and i am able to inflict the incenerate effect on serpent but im still not able to gain any power..tho the stun immunity is getting removed after i inflict him with incenerate but for some reason im not gaining any power..could you let me know whether it is a bug or am i making some error in the fight.

I think it has something to do with passive debuffs

passives dont count. They arent classified as "debuffs"

Yeah that's what it was, same reason why HT pf doesn't work

Well Jack only deals damaging debuffs on his SP2, so the only way he can gain power is by some miracle of getting to two bars of power without the ability to gain power.

Damaging debuffs only, as stated by the node.
