Boycot is needed again 🥱

How can we make the game even less enjoyable for the players? Hmm, let's see, yes, we're going to tie prestige to rewards, which means players will rank champions they don't even want to play just to get better rewards. What idiot came up with this? And guess what i can already tell that every champ that is paywalled is high prestige. Thank you for the wonderful years of playing, but this is really the last straw of how badly you are ruining this game for us.

How is a boycott going to help when everyone is agreeing that the more you pay the better rewards? The only people being affected (according to you) don't spend anyway. If spending is helping so much in this new system (which it isn't much at all) then they are definitely going to keep spending.

The rewards gap between tiers isn't even that wide. The difference between what you get at t6 compared with t9 is a few thousand shards of some stuff.

People are losing their minds over this and seem to just be looking at the top t15 rewards and assuming theirs are nerfed when a. Nobody in the game is anywhere near t15 right now. b. The rewards are a sliding scale so they don't have to keep doing updates like they do stores. Your rewards get better as your account prestige grows. And c. The rewards are better at base than last months valiant eq anyway.

You're missing the point. It's not about the gap in rewards so much as it's about having to rank champs you don't want to play just to stay competitive. If the player doesn't rank the prestige champs then they get worse rewards, simple

You don't have to do that. It won't make a big enough difference. If you rank up someone with 5000 more prestige than the one you want to, your prestige will only be 167 points higher. And that's a big gap that most won't have. (Math → 5000/30 = 166.66667)

@Skyfaw i don’t spend a peny on this game for half a year.. valiant quest was fine for the last 3 months and they decided to f* it up again. And thats what they always do with content that works fine. The question is why should u change something that worked good?? 🤷🏼‍♂️

The problem is having a developing paragon/thronebreaker having to do classic (the easiest difficulty) and facing 500-8800k healthpools with 14-20k ATK. Endgamers can do it easily. It just takes half a day to finish but it's barely worth it for us. The struggling ones are the lower accounts. They need to finish to advance but they can't finish even the classic mode. And that might be the real target here. Entice slower accounts to spend instead of saving their shards for op titan champs with high prestige to compete with the top rosters. From a whales perspective I understand. They need to get their money's worth. But to go from top 5 (which has been there since the beginning) to in 1 night to top 30 is nuts. Top dogs already have their top 30 high prestige all ranked while most other players focused on top 5 and rest fun/ specific utility counters etc.

Too much too fast without any warning, heads up or extended hand.
