Top 100 alliances are reporting that some users were able to obtain 100s of T6CC from EQ before it was taken down. I believe the current maintenance is to claw back these rewards, but it is likely that some players will slip through the cracks.

Not everyone has access to Discord or may not even want to use it. The whole point of having multiple communication platforms is to spread your message the widest as possible.
