Its stupid absolutely stupid. U can remove it defensely but not offensively, or they could've replaced it with slow or shock immunity or that weird buff batsion has to stop evade

Been playing since 2017, been through lots of highs and lows with the game and spent a ton of money. There have certainly been periods of discontent in the past but I’m not sure if Kabam have grasped how annoyed people have been recently and the level of discontent.

I certainly think this is a crazy time to be nerfing (they can blame it on defensive ability all they want- removing ensnare is a big nerf) from a much loved and sought after recent character.

I fully expect the same thing to happen with other powerful attackers released this year- Nico and Karolina. Kabam are shooting themselves in the foot, reducing the likelihood of people spending on new champs and resources to rank them up and generating ill will. After reading that announcement I don’t feel like playing the game at all. Seriously what’s the point.

I think it's **** dumb I took her from r1 sig 0 to r4 sig 200 fed all my sigs into her and this is what I get for doing that. Wow if you're going to do this then NERF serpent THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND UNCALLED FOR!

They aren't changing and they have been doing this for months, it wasn't just for defenders but also characters who could have got attack update and they brush it off

People always mention him when enchantress was also not nerfed or bill buffed, we are just dogs barking to a tree at this point knowing they will mess up

This is not about previous defenders, this is about the lame speech of "She is too strong in defense", now it becomes an issue all of the sudden and they are taking away an offensive ability. How convenient....

I'm just tired of us barking as if they would ever care to change ther ways,if they rework and give her something else thats great but will be just matter of time they do it again and don't fix this time

Make no mistake about it. This is an attacking nerf dressed up as a defensive one. Kabam don't nerf defenders...ever. You think dark pheonix is gong to be anything over than "performing how we would expect" next month?

What kabam don't like is op attackers. And spiderwomans ensnare meant that she could take champs like serpent and dark pheonix with the right rng luck on the ability fail. And kabam can't have that.

Also, the comment about not wanting to release too many strong defender in quick succession is laughable to the point they have to be just trolling us

Normally I don’t post much on here. But this spider woman situation is laughable.

I honestly wouldn’t mind them nerfing the defensive ensnare. But to remove it from offense? And then to say that an evade counter isn’t necessary in her matchups is hilarious.

Has the design philosophy really gotten as thin as “they should counter the op defenders we make every other month and nothing more”? Are we forgetting nodes exist? Sounds to me like a terrible excuse to nerf a strong offensive champ because “the nerf is actually for defence”.

this is messed up. the debuff to remove is they actually gaf about hard defenders affecting us which we know they don’t is the fumble debuff. how is kabam making so many wrong decisions since 2023 it’s so terrible man

KABAM, If you want to address the issue of Spider-Woman as a defender, why not removing her ensnare just from her "defender kit"?

You have many other champs with attributes that apply only for defender, so why not here when you can leave it as it to attacker?

as you said, her ensnare is not that potent so just leave it as it is (as attacker)
