The spider woman bs would be a very negative impact for me towards the game, I thought this moment would never come but if this is the future of kabam I don’t want to be part of it,now is SW which I don’t think is any different than any other somewhat hard defender,who is to say that any other champ is going to change too, after all the time and effort we put in to this champs to get them where they at for you guys to come and change things,not fair for the players

Incredibly poor decision in my opinion, especially since many have been investing in resources and upgrade materials to take to max rank. I recently did so myself. Since I'm a casual player that doesn't acquire many rank 4 materials, this one especially stings.

I hope they reconsider.

I also hope that other items are prioritized instead of these types of decisions. During a BG's match today, the game/AI selected and activated characters before I could click the accept button. Please. Please. Prioritize things that actually matter.

Reading but the question is are they listening too? Because what's the point if the changes go through regardless? I get that you guys are the devs and not us but we play the game actively every single day and are just experienced as some of you. These changes make absolutely no sense and I think a lot of people have brought multiple valid points, I know I did.

yea neefing spider woman on attack is just wrong and a huge slap in the face especially with all the op defenders we’ve had. She is an amazing champion on offense and defense so now she get a a nerf is crazy

Cant speak to anything beyond us passing it along for just now, announcement and the response has all been in the last few hours. they do listen, but what specifically gets actioned on based on feedback is different next step. But Rex and I are both listening for sure

So she can't reliably fight evade opponents now. If they want to tone down her defensive prowess only, then why stripping her of one of her best offensive tools

Honestly, I really don’t. Where I seem to be getting the majority of my confusion is the premise under the defensive ability being too great. If that was the case, why not just restrict that buff to offense only. There are tons of champions that do that why are you doing this as a uniform Nerf?

Also, she’s really not a problematic defender. A three out of five is very much basically where she’s at. None of this really makes sense, particularly given the fact that she is clearly very beloved. Almost everybody that has her and is near the endgame has a ranked almost ubiquitously to four with people emptying signature stones into her very very consistently. I have personally spent money maxing her out. I really just don’t understand this, the only thing I can think of is that the balance team just doesn’t do enough to really justify its existence and has just decided to nerf her so that they can have a purpose, but I don’t know, it’s just bizarre?

I really just very much disagree with this decision and it makes it harder for myself a pretty decent spender to continue to do so. Is Nico next I spend a significant amount of money, including purchasing that hundred dollar awakening gem last deal for her specifically. This does not feel justified and therefore how does anybody spend comfortably anymore?

one of many horrible decisions as of late. Sigil was cancelled immediately upon hearing this. Hopefully Kabam sees the push back from the community and goes back to have a discussion with the game team.

It was nice having the Ensnare shut off the Unstoppable in todays side quest; hopefully they take it away only on defense

But functionally she's not supposed to counter evade, it just doesn't really make an impact on any of her target matchups. Mystics just don't really evade. She still counters unstoppable and miss, which is already a lot of utility, and it does impact a lot of her target matchups (Sassy, Rintrah, Mangog, Enchantress, Maw). I think her ensnare is too much, the AA decrease is just another thing to work around when she already has annoying defender abilities, like turning off dex, evading, and her power sting going through block. Enchantress and mordo are the only mystics that evade.

if the AAR is that important to be removed they could have at least substituted it for a slow debuff so we still utilize the anti evade mechanic on offense. Personally I used this a ton and upset to see it removed.

I think I understand a bit more and think I got the perfect solution that will be a win win situation for all.

Ok so bare with me here fellow summoners.

Firstly I think we might been too hard on Kabam team (bare with me). I work on trust and as the post stated, Kabam listened to us and only wanting to do what the community wanted which was to have less OP Defenders released. So I would like to thanks Kabam team for the kind thought.

From the many many posts on this thread, it is clear that the players don't want Spiderwoman to be changed or "nerf" as the kid say these days.

So here is the solution which is 2 parts.

Kabam should just leave Spiderwoman well alone, I mean don't even look at her. Think of her as that hot girl across the street that you happen to noticed, but your girlfriend is right next to you and she is watch every one of your glances, so just look down and mark her down as a 4 (5) out of 5 in your own head, and walk away.
Then next 4(5)/5 OP Defender, just nerf that champ to a 3.5 / 5.

And as a cherry on top, Kabam can re-release Spider Woman feature crystals again for those poor sod that haven't got her yet.

People spent money to get a champ and level them up, and fall in love playing them. So taking away ensnare from SpiderWoman is like removing a champ from your roster, which you spend money to get. What if nich fury just disappear one day?

So I ask all summoners to show support. When there are drastically horrible defenders like serpent, yelena, enchantress etc so balanced and ok for the game this is wrong. I WILL QUIT THE GAME, IF ENSNARE IS TAKEN AWAY FROM HER KIT. if there are others who think like me please show your support.

I am quitting the game if ensnare is taken away from her kit. (I tried to start a thread and kabam took that away). So those who are in support show the support here. Kabam needs to be confronted by us as a united front. SO FOR EVERYONE ELSE, I WILL QUIT THIS GAME IF SPIDER WOMAN IS NERFED AND ENSNARE IS TAKEN AWAY.

Taking away ensnare is really bad. Kabam isn't even allowing me to comment what I desire. I have started a post saying I will stop playing the game and asking who else is with me, but comments and post of the same are being taken off by them i guess

This is just dumb. Another example of poor decision making. Just when the player base morale couldn't get any lower. I don't think this is the right answer to the problem at hand. Please Kabam, use better judgement.

if the defensive kit was really the problem they’d take away the fumble… the debuff that only impacts an attacking player by taking away our masteries. The announcement is straight gaslighting
