they need to leave ensnare on offense, if they don’t then they need to give everyone their R4 materials, gems and stones back that were used on her. The kit is what made me rank her in the first place and taking away her utility is bs

Kabam's claim of removing Ensnare as a defensive ability is just dishonest and characteristic BS. They ARE removing it as an offensive ability because it benefits the players.

It's obvious that the Ensnare is making a bigger difference in attack than in defence, which isn't in Kabam's best interests. So here we are. Again.

And again, stop spending tmoney on the game until they start behaving.

I’ll do you one better, Jabari has had this same ensnare buff since her release, is this debuff a problem here?

This might be ignorant and irrational on my part, but the more I think about this change the more petty it feels.

"We don't want you taking fights that you shouldn't be".

Well then why did YOU design it like that then? And had it reviewed by everyone? And then had it made, tested, then released?

And what happened to just making a good champ for once? Why does everything have to be packaged in such an obvious problem/solution pattern? I've had it with this design space nonsense.

"This champ covers too much ground and we can milk you for more later, so we're going to nerf her. Oh and make sure to spend 36k units buying the counter to next mystic attacker that coincidentally also has evade in their kit".

The design process is waaay too transparent, cheap, predictable, and boring these days.

This doesn’t make any sense at all. They’re not going to nerf her, it’s probably just a joke. If it’s not, then they have an ulterior motive, which means they’re full of lies and hypocrisy. It also clearly shows that they only care about their own interests, the players’ pockets not the players themselves. Or maybe they’re just bad at their jobs. Either way, it’s troubling.

So, she’s too much of a defender than intended. Any thinking, logical person would ask: How do we fix her without hurting her offensive value?
Ensnare has a 30% chance for the attacker’s abilities to fail and prevents evade. Let’s remove that. But wait, that also affects her on attack, where it’s a huge benefit.

Is this the only option? She has no other annoying defensive abilities? What about the Fumble debuff? That one disables Dexterity during specials, and it doesn’t do anything on attack. Players also hate when defenders tamper with their masteries.

Kabam: No, let’s piss them off more. Remove Ensnare instead.

That said, Kabam mentioned toning down defenders after the Serpent outrage. Since then, we’ve had champions like Yelena, Jean, Dark Phoenix, High Evolutionary, etc. So why Spider-Woman? Does this mean we should expect nerfs for the likes of Dark Phoenix and High Evolutionary too?

This is so dumbfounding that it feels like either a prank or an experiment to test the unity level of the player base or our pushback.

I can write the reply for Kabam, It’s up to them whether to take it.

We were not aware of the extent to which players rely on Ensnare. Because it is applied automatically as a debuff, our data did not fully capture its impact on gameplay. We greatly appreciate the community’s feedback, and as a result, Ensnare will only be removed from her defensive ability while remaining a core part of her offensive skill set.

Its so sad, Just got her as 7* a couple weeks ago so I ranked her and duped her from a nexus because i knew how good she was in defense and offense(also fed sig stones), that made me play more because of the new champ and now she gets the nerf lol. I'm not even mad, just sad, don't even want to do the daily quest/event lol.

Me thinks it's a bit of gaslighting - the ensare is far more useful on attack to players than defense. They can definitely just remove it when she is on defence. They do it with champ kits all the time.

Want to make her easier on defense? Remove fumble.

Swoman isn’t anywhere close to a 5/5 defender pre-nerf. At most, she is a 4/5, and this change won’t affect who I use to fight her whatsoever. It’s such an odd change. If they really cared about her defender strength, remove fumble. That debuff completely shutting off Dex is infinitely more annoying than a 30% chance for an ability to fail

Simplesmente desnecessário, o que acontece é que a kaban não pode ver F2play feliz com um campeão, tanta coisa para mexer e arrumar no jogo aí vão mexer com algo totalmente desnecessário.
