Dire Degen let's you nullify buffs in all attacks,also gets Cruelty,precision,power gain,regen and Unstoppable buffs from the opponent, also makes the opponent more agressive
For the invisibility let dash back and hold block also be a option to trigger It
I don't think that would be enough. They need to increase the degen damage by about 50% and halve the time for all classes. Then let his degen scale with his current attack or make his bleeds insanely stronger.
Base SP2 degens about 24,000 for a rank2 7*.
Activating dire before SP2 gets close to 47,000
With the above he could activate dire before SP2 and get close to 131,400. Just saying that galan does 140,000+ off a single sp2 with less skill involved and is 4.5/5 on damage (not to mention in a very basic match up)
this slow play is not appealing to me - never was.
Everyone is talking about the lagacy video as proof hes mid as if he didnt openly say he wasnt going to use slow combos which was stated multiple times in the deep dive to be the optimal way to play him lmao.

Visually I like him, but kit needs a bit more. I am glad they didn’t go crazy trying to make him a defender and just let his degen exist solely on attack, that was a good call
Yes,he could gain more effects to have a wider variety of targets including on the class he should be superior,even Trap who trashed him the most said that if he had more damage that would be enough im just adding more stuff for more power
the Nullify is already on his kit and should be more frequent and have more targets soo his buff steal can get more value

Hercules would have more targets if he was immune to Nullify, it doesn't mean that's what hes designed to do.
His nullify on sp1 is very specifically tailored to result in bigger damage against champions with fury buffs, if it was extended to all of his attacks the potency would be drastically reduced

Dracula solo ultility on the S1 is the slow,all his sword attack during specials nullify and makes a copy of a fury buff, and exchange a single target buff copy for more Nullify control and more buff copy like cruelty and precision? yeah even tought they are weaker it's a much better option
thats a bad faith argument. The difference is that Hercules was universally praised and correctly stated to be able to take down ANY piece of content. Dracula is useless in the vast majority of game modes and I challenge you to find where you would use him and specifically rank him up for over at least 30% of his class. Give me an AW node, an AQ map, a story mode quest, a side quest, an AQ raids boss. Take your time. You’ve until Dracula finishes this fight for me (so about 10-14 business days)

They're not usually that far off when it comes to the most optimal way to use a Champ. Sometimes things come up.
The real issue is, people don't spend enough time testing Champs before jumping to conclusions.
I wonder if Dracula's Dire Degeneration gimmick of accelerated tick rate could also be made to function as a pseudo-Atrophy for a bunch of KO cheating/Damage mitigation effects (Indestructible, Immortality, Death Immunity, Protection, Safeguard, others that I've possibly missed), making them tick down at the same accelerated rate as Dire Degeneration while it is active, alongside any other beneficial effects from said effects being gained as if they ticked normally (denying the majority of whatever Health or Power was to be gained from it). Possibly made to function on any non-Science Champion (otherwise we're encroaching Luke Cage, Immortal Hulk and Thing, just some Science Champions that I can recall right now who use such effects). Too OP, not explained clearly enough or too technically complicated to implement?
They tested a good amount and some match ups he Works and others he doesn't, his main problem is damage but not just damage but also lack of Immunities to handle competitive places and his Regen and Slow are good but not enough
468 even when super dire is just not enough when your play style is AI reliant most of the time,and that was against Vanilla opponents without nodes and he was taking that long for class advantage
or they boost the Degen damage and make It scale attack rating in general or they boost his ultility to reach more targets
That would be cool, I wished he had some sort of immortality though
he definitely needs an atrophy on the dire degen. It would counterbalance how many cosmics can shrug off nullify and it should work to remove immortality/death immunity faster. Instantly makes him better for high end content.
I also wouldn’t mind them making it a triple whammy. His regen could work to decrease a DOT debuff on him. If the regen is kept the exact same then this would make his SP2 a decent counter for things like nova flame, bleed, shock, coldsnap etc. If regen gets made into a more permanent buff then as long as it’s active he could shrug off DOT. Then if you throw in undying we now have a formidable Dracula that looks the part and has a unique kit that separates him from Nico but can still make an impact.
To summarize what I’ve seen across multiple threads, Dracula needs the following… Buff control- atrophy, dot shrug off, more impactful buff steal (maybe it lasts longer or he steals more buffs during specials)
Vampire abilities- Psychic shielding and undying
Sig ability rework- either needs to ignore inequity or the numbers need to be boosted.
Value update- higher base health and attack OR a kit change that allows his degen AND regen to be boosted by modified values such as fury, recoil masteries, etc.
This is what a 2025 mystic champion should look like. Also notice how none of these changes (accept undying) would make him a strong defender but all of the changes would fit with his survivability and damage stats. These changes would also make him favorable specifically against strong cosmic defenders and in AW/BG’s. Most importantly he would be more fun to play with. Also keep in mind that Dracula is metal, has reduced MD, and somehow doesn’t have a way to power boost so that he can chain SP2’s back to back. These changes would help in this department as well rather than tacking on a power boost to help his rotation loop.
