Unable to link Discord to Kabam account

The link interface is probably overloaded from everyone trying to link. People are getting in, it just might take time for the load to decay. I linked mine fine, although I linked just before the rush.

I’d love to get a look at Kabam’s servers.

Probably be akin to looking upon a time capsule from 2013.

Try a different browser. (Safari doesn’t work).

After you open the link, copy it and open in another browser (Edge works)

It should allow you to link Discord.

Lol it’s only a valiant nexus crystal so it’s just a 5% for 98% of the community hurry up and get that 5* everyone i’m not even wasting my time for that

Linking to Discord is not a requirement for playing the game. However, much as Twitch has a mechanism to grant engagement rewards to the game through Twitch drops (which have had their own issues) the idea moving forward is to allow for Discord-based engagement activities that can reward players. But these are intended to be on top of the normal game just as Twitch drops are, not a replacement or requirement for playing the game.

People were blaming Kabam for the Twitch drops malfunctioning as well, but it turned out to be a Twitch problem not a Kabam/MCOC problem (unless we're now blaming Kabam for causing Twitch drops to malfunction for other games).

I don't know precisely where the issue lies with the Discord linking, however, there are known issues other applications have had with the Discord third party API when under high load, so it is entirely possible, and likely, that this is also completely out of Kabam's hands.
