It's not helping them get better Rewards when it conflates the entire system and throws the natural order off. Setting people up for failure later is not helping them.

They get Rewards they aren't meant to get. When you artificially conflate the results, you push people up that don't belong there. Then you set them up for a fall whenever you choose to make your own push.

But they don’t fall… if anything they get stuck in a higher up ranking than where they would otherwise be stuck. That’s positive for them. They can’t lose ranks

GW, they gave away progression titles without even doing the content, pretty sure the game will be fine with a bunch of people getting rewards they don't deserve for 1 BG season

yeah that’s my viewpoint on it as well,..i’m at 2.5k points doing just that,..helping out some and i’m not putting my phone down at least and moving it as quickly as possible.

Been having a bit of fun spamming the emotes back and forth as well,..so what’s the harm.

That's the same as saying, if Kabam makes it possible for people to cheat, then it's their fault.

People are still responsible for their own choices. It's not just the system they're taking advantage of. If it was the AI you were playing against, that would be more benign. It's the fact that the entire system shifts when you do it. People will be pushed higher than they belong, then trampled when others push to GC, then the effects continue next Season when they start higher than they should, and it goes on.

If you're saying Kabam has no issue with people doing it because it's possible to be done, that's a false assumption.

They don't care cause it happens once a year. They even said that its not a priority because of the 2 coin W and 1 coin L system...

If it is that big of a problem once again 33 seasons, almost 3 years if you count off season weeks. They had enough time to find a solution other than just frowning.

I know i am responsible of my own choices, if I choose to push people further up its my choice, it doesn't affect me at all. There was a time when I used to care about the integrity of the game. I stopped caring, as long as its not a direct violation of ToS i am ok with it. Min effort max rewards.

Well, what Kabam does is up to them, but I don't agree that it's harmless, and it helps people, and the game has so many bugs anyway, and pro-player moves, and any other argument people have made about the issue in the past.

It's taking advantage of a competition that is designed to award people based on their actual ability. So y'all can do what you want. I'm not deeking results.

Its 1 event a year usually during anniversary.

Its not even a skill based event, its just a grinding endurance farm. If you are talking about "deserving rewards" look at the top milestones, all progressions can earn it as long as they grind. Some choose to grind it in a different way. The event itself is completely isolated from the competition aspect of BGs, its not about placing higher or reaching a higher tier, its about playing more matches.

There is a solution to stop the farm...

Losing a match gives 0 points towards the event or even worse it substracts let say 5 points. That would make it interesting and cutthroat competition, of course the smaller accounts would just get pummeled and not be able to get much though …

Whether it's once a year or not, it's still taking advantage of the system, and it still has affects on the system and others in it.

Also, Kabam has spoken out on farming in the past. That was one of the reasons they introduced Radiance in the GC. That wasn't the intention of the Event.

Either way it's in bad taste as far as I'm concerned. That's not a personal dig at anyone. I just don't agree with it.

Radiance was introduced because people didn't see a point on going into GC fast enough, and because rewards were ass.. and guess what? The radiance store was already outdated until recently so people lost interest in getting those 30k radiance....

Once again if we are going to talk about past statement, they said that farming was not a concern or issue because of the 2 coin 1 coin system too. Half assed solutions create half assed problems.

it’s actually been really fun with the emotes,..think iv’e had more fun this season losing than any other.

I have my deck loaded with henchpools,..gwenpool venompool,..and og deadpool 1 star and my deadpool xforce 2 star.

Got all the deadpool emotes equipped as well,..a lot of humour and a lot of fun, without the need for words,..loving it.

I have accidentally one a couple so far… folks picked red skull as an attacker. Instant parry and I am sure the game crashed on them. One figured it out, at least two others just gave up. Wish I could send a message to swipe back once …lol

If like you said, people are responsible for their own choices, then why are trying to tell people what to do or not. Just let people play the game how they want. They can farm, they can play normally, whichever way they will probably get all the milestones anyway, since that is how the event is designed.

Can anyone tell me what's the fastest way to farm points? I am in plat 3. Is making my whole deck just 2 stars the fastest way? And how many matches do i have to play daily to get 5k points?

Every Summoner should be able to play as they wish as long as it's not against TOS. Like others have said, if Kabam wanted to reward points for winning in this BG solo event, they could have easily done it. They wanted those smaller accounts to get the top rewards by grinding the game. So if summoners are playing within the TOS and using 2 star decks to lose faster, thereby farming points faster. What's the issue here. They are saving time and helping other's move up. Lets be honest here, the accounts being push up aren't going to GC since most of these point farming are on the lower level. If this helps players move up one tier or maybe a couple of tiers, what's the issue. Even if this strategy pushes a few small accounts into GC and gave them the better rewards, what's the issue. They would never get these rewards without the push. It's a win win for everyone in my books. I'm not doing it myself but I don't see the issue with other's doing it.

I think it’s the fastest way for the non competitive player. I think I have gone through 4 full energy and am close to 1k. So it’s definitely doable. Haven’t tried to win a match yet. A few other point farmers forfeited against me. A lot easier to do it in VC. GC you could wait on a match forever.

just remember to swipe back at the start of the fight to avoid the game crashing. Dying instantly will cause it.

If you would have hung out in diamond, you could have won and forfeited at will with any decent roster in a few days … but gonna be tougher in platinum until later.

It would be bad taste if it was related to the competitive aspect of the game mode at all.

Just because it is related to BGs it doesnt mean that it has anything to do with it. The event are milestones for playing matches, win or lose you get an X or Y amount of points. Like i said before, if they want to use the "competitive argument" and avoid farming, losing should give 0 points.
