You keep saying that but they've spoken out about farming in the past. People know what they're doing. They just don't care. Which ruins it for others, honestly. It's going to take a couple seasons for the system to rebalance, and other people are going to suffer for it.

Why are you fixated on the first thing they said about farming? Why are you ignoring the fact that they said it wasn't a big concern cause of the 2 coin 1 coin system?

You keep on talking about the integrity, the competition aspect. How people are getting rewards that they don't deserve or get to a position that is not meant for them. If they didn't apply the 2 coin system they wouldn't climb as fast. Why do I mention this? How is it fair a lower account has the benefit to just forfeit against a bigger account and exploit the fact that they only lose 1 coin ok? Isn't that the equivalent of picking and choosing matches at the expense of half the punishment?

agree, if you are one who can get the radiance milestones, go to GC. That’s not me, and I usually hit walls the first two weeks in VC and then make GC. So if I am going to be stuck anyway, I will just point farm now and take advantage of almost zero time wasted waiting for a matchup. That’s what I foresee being the downside in GC farming in Uru.

If you have Radiance disincentivizing people, and no Solo Milestones, it's not a problem. Now, you have people farming for the Milestones, and a system that accelerates their climb, and Players that are being tossed up higher than they should be.

It's been a year from that post, they did nothing. Matter of fact they didn't even chime in this active thread.

Your mention of radiance makes the situation even worse, there is radiance and they still did nothing.

So some people will get 10k radiance from being pushed to GC and a bit more for finishing in URU, oh no...

Maybe they should have turned this into a realm event, or put the rewards in VT tiers, that would have kept the season normal.

Dam @GroundedWisdom it's time to pick another hobby. You keep stating something that Kabam has said it isn't a big deal due to them and they are aware of it. Why must you keep arguing a losing arguement. The only players benefiting right now are those that care to try to win a match. This seems like a win win for everyone. Kabam made a solo event that anyone can achieve by anyone playing BG from beginners to top of the tier players as long as you play enough BG matches. Not that you need to win enough matches. You don't think Kabam know what they were doing by giving out points for losing. They have the data and with that dats Kabam has determined that they want everyone who is willing to do the grind to achieve the top solo rewards. The top rewards are worth it for most summoners so most will try for it. It doesn't mean that there's only one way for them to get the rewards by winning and advancing, you can lose be stuck and still get points. How many players in past have complaint that they can't beat all these whale accounts can now still get points to achieve the top tier solo rewards. I think that's a win for everyone from the FTP to the whales. Stop being a clown and trying to create controversy where there's none.

It is a win for everyone, people are getting more rewards in the track or in GC and have to grind less because they got points faster.

Is it detrimental to BGs? Yes; but they shouldn't put a grind event in it then.

Do lower accounts care about the next season that will be completely botched or do they care about getting those milestones done this season?

Like I said you have to separate BG competitive aspect from the event, the event has 0 competitive qualities other than playing match after match after match.

Besides they will have the non competitive BG soon.

That was my whole point GW, the event itself is based on who has more time, more energy refills and elder marks. It has nothing to do with playing to win. Even worse there is an actual rank reward on it. The event itself skews the idea of BGs itself.

Lets also be honest, if everyone went all out, sweaty palms and heavy breathing mode on it, there are accounts that wouldn't even be able to reach half of the milestones unless they spent a ridiculous ammount of units on energy packs and EMs. Imagine those accounts that claim losing 20 matches in a row trying to farm those points.

I said you're pushing them up to where they don't belong. They get Rewards, sure. Rewards they didn't earn, and eventually more Rewards than they should based on their ability. Then when they plateau, they're higher than they should be, and they can't compete. Which isn't a problem for the people who gave them a pass because they can then bash them about when they decide to make their push to the GC.

Meanwhile next Season, they start higher than they normally do, and they get bashed about again.

oh no!!,..heaven forbid they get a bit of a boost and get better rewards for a whole one season of battlegrounds.

Then maybe they hit a wall and get a taste of what they need to do build a roster that may eventually be able to compete at that level.
