Drooped tier in AW ??

Was in tier 4 before maintenance and after in tier 6 ?😶 What happened, what went wrong that we moved to tier 6 , anyone else noticed this or it’s just our alliance has to pay the price of the maintenance. 😂 JK

Please enlighten us 🤔

    It is a part of the addition of the master war tiers for this season wars format.

    Didn't notice this before you mentioned. I think my alliance's AW also dropped 2 tiers downwards.
    Just curious, are these breakdown % there before?

    Meaning, before the maintenance, was it:-
    ... Tier 1 = Top 1% ???

    and then, during the maintenance, they changed it to:-
    ... Tier 1 = Top 0.1%
    ... Tier 2 = 0.2% - 0.5%
    ... Tier 3 = 0.6% - 1.0% ????

    If it is not due to the breakdown of the top1 into top1/2/3, then I wonder why my alliance AW was dropping 2 tiers as well ...

    It is due to the changes. Tier 1 used to say something like 0% to 1%.

    In this case, only the top 0.1% will stay in Tier 1, top 0.2%-0.5% will DROP 1 tier, everyone else will DROP 2 tiers, I reckon ...

    You didnt drop a tier. They just added 2 more tiers to the top. You arent getting any less rewards.

    Haha yes we know, we dropped NUMERICAL tiers, haha .... :) But no harm, just pure numbering system in chronological order, that's all.

    Technically we did drop. But you are correct that we are not getting anything less than before. And yes @shchong2.

    Yes, and as a result, my alliance seemed to get more rewards. We were only tier 9 with 4* shards and 3*, now Tier 11 with 5* and 4* shards... haha

    Wow, congrats. More tiers getting 4* and 5* shards should do away with a lot of the alliance hopping and swapping of the past too.

    FYI, even the top AW alliances are currently in tier 3 ... not sure any are in tier 1 and 2 at this time. Maybe it'll change after patch.

    This is awesome, finally AW rewards is catching up slightly with how the game is evolving. Still waiting for the revamp of Solo/alliance event rewards and arena rewards, but hey, I'm cool with one step at a time, and nothing better then starting with AW rewards! :) Cheers!!

    This has to be what's up. My alliance was top 30 two wars ago. Granted we lost twice, but my understanding was that the old tier 1 had almost 300 alliances in it. Even if you say it's 200, that would mean the new t3 cutoff would equate to placing 101. We're currently in t3 and there is no way we dropped 70 slots in two wars. Kabam has either messed up or this is just a visual error the patch will fix.
