I'm going to call it as it looks like to me. The company (Kabam):
Ensnare is a major part of the champion's kit, I'm not willing to believe that it was overlooked during testing and release. These decisions seem opaque and in the real world its like selling someone a service for a said price and then withdrawing an essential part of that service. In the real world a company would get sued for doing something like this. I'm sure we can't sue Kabam as there would probably be a clause in the T&C stating that company can change or modify character/champion abilities.
This isn't a good look for the company and it borders on unfair practices. I'm sure the player base can list a number of character that seem to be overpowered and have been left untouched or unmodified by the company. Why is this character changing, I would like some more detailed explanation than the initial not update that was posted by the company.

They literally made a point of calling out how useful it would be in their deep dive against Bullseye. Who she no longer can counter.
I agree. It was shown during the deep dive against bullseye to be part of her kit. Changing a kit now it completely misleading⦠A well designed character by kabam with specific usage is sent to trash⦠for what reason ? I dont understand

Agree with what everyone is saying. It figures that Kabam wants to nerf one of the best champions we've gotten in a while for no reason, other than what they are claiming is a defense tweak which I'm calling BS on. I've been playing since almost the opening of the game, and the trajectory has done nothing but went downhill consistently. π What can we do as players though, other then stop playing the game, and purchasing in game itemsβ¦? frustrated π

That's not really a good argument. Champions have been getting nerfed since the game was created. Nerfs have become less frequent, so if you had no problems ranking them then, you should have no problems ranking them now.
She isnt nearly as good on offense after the nerf.
Whether or not you think she should have been nerfed is one thing. But let's not lie and act like the Ability accuracy reduction in ensnare was one of the first, second, or third reasons people were ranking her up.
she's about the same given that she lost the ability accuracy reduction but now has a stronger evade counter
Its why I ranked her up. If you arent using her and realize how that helps I am sorry. Its like having a AA 1 neroshock on an opponent . with as complicated as todays game is, with seven different things happening from kits and nodes something is failing all the time. Plus with no end in sight to how complicated they make things, it would only get more valuable. Please lets not pretend that if the nerf was about stopping evade they would have just taken it off of defense. They are removing that specifically because it makes her a better attacker. Obviously Kabam saw it as the biggest issue in her kit for them to design around.
She wont be the same at all.
