Yelena + Dark Pheonix balance update ??

I know kabam employees are busy in the Fest preparation , it will be nice to know an expectation date for balance update( it's not mid oct anymore or its like mid week comp 😂)

That probably actually means they can rebalance/bug fix any champ as per their liking.

I was expecting more infos. However good that they stopped the rebalancing system. But how are we moving forward now

Read the recent update on balancing, genuine question though, you said there will be a longer balance post this week, that's why its taking a bit longer but reading the update didn't seem like longer explanation for balance update.

So, did you guys make this decision just now, after writing the balance update and realizing what community will react to that and how it will impact the next two big sales events?

It is clear that Kabam team have alot of their plate.

I think as the community, we also want to help Kabam lessen the work load where possible.

With that in mind, while we strongly thing Spider Woman should nerf, we can see that it created extra work for the Kabam team. Therefore with much consideration, we the community willing to compromise and can learn to accept Spider Woman as she is right now.

Again all of this are only for the benefit of the Kabam team in mind.

I dont want to poke fun because I know the team is in a tough position but at the same time, they themselves created that position and it is funny in a cosmic sense (pun intended) that there was so much pressure surrounding dark phoenix's rebalance that they axed the program instead of doing anything lmao

Yeah nerf all the champs F2P players can get but as soon as it's the $1000 champ's turn, they just decide to cancel the whole program. Literally the greediest thing I have ever seen.

There is no point in adding trash champs like Groot, Ms. Marvel, CA WWII, Iron Fist etc to 7* star pool.

These champs are just sitting there doing nothing as 5*/6*

Actually these are 2 different programs.

Rebalance team look at new released champs and see if they meant the criteria Kabam had in mind for them (where we agreed or not). This is not done by the Champion Design team.

The Buff program is a different thing. Where it is the Champion Design team that work on making change (or rework) on the champs and they are still then get review under the Rebalance team.

Champions like Mr Sinister, Nightcrawler, Captain Britain, all of the DXP, Purgatory, Anti Venom, Iron Man, Cyclops and X23 (whenever she is release) would fall into this.

Remember there were also the plan of reworking Magik too.

I know, I'm just saying it's a lose lose situation no matter what. They've put themselves in a position where either choice will cause problems because they have milked the sales way too much and they have caused even more division between f2p players and whales by handing out top champs for cash. I'm willing to bet this is why they've decided to give away Stealthy for free, cause they're starting to realize how badly they **** up after selling Red Guardian Dark Phoenix and Torch for over 500 each.
