So was the end goal just to nerf SW? Or close the program to avoid nerfing Dark Phoenix? Kind of lame they still are keeping the nerf after shutting down the program?

I'm starting to think that they purposely nerfed Spider Woman to have an excuse to end the program before it was Dark Phoenix's turn.

No they nerfed her because she was to good of an attacker. They are not nerfing DP because they are horrible company.

This was the perfect excuse to leave Dark Phoenix untouched. They ended an ENTIRE program just to please the whales. I m sooo done with spending even a single quarter of a euro.

I’m not surprised this as happened. the balance program isn’t fit for purpose. After failing to rebalance serpent and others and the debacle over spider woman they really can’t justify adjusting any champ after this. I really believe from here on they should leave new champs as they are and concentrate on bringing the older champs inline. They don’t need to make them op just make them relevant

I see this as a good thing. No more living in fear for 3 months after you pull and rank up a champion from the Titan Crystal. It was ridiculous we couldn’t feel confident in our rank ups. I get that dark Phoenix is adding another layer to the situation but overall I’m glad we will never have another spider woman situation

At least you had the "fear" for only 3 months that coincidentally got extended to 4+ months when they make it to the titan crystal in 3 months... What you see as a relief, others can see like an open window for them to nerf or change a month after the rebalancing period.

that’s definitely a valid concern. I guess I’m just interpreting this in a charitable way for Kabam, which they probably don’t deserve.

It works both ways, I choose not to trust them anymore. Sure you can go ahead and invest on a champ without fearing a nerf in 3-4 months, the way I see it they are free to nerf it after 6-8 months if they feel like it, with some made up excuse like Spider Womans defensive nerf that is clearly an offensive nerf.

We get that anyway…. See Titania for a recent example. I only ever saw the rebalance program as Hopium for Titan duds. That next Titan crystal is going to be rightly valued in summoners mind. There’s no small chance Dracula gets saved or Mr. Knight becomes OP. They are duds - and everyone knows that isn’t changing anytime soon.

Time to start blaming Kabam for making garbage instead of starting a thread every week begging for a buff

Titania is an indirect result of their scotch tape patching measures. She wasn't nerfed, a change to prevent other things affects her. It sucks; but its not a nerf.

Absolutely hilarious so they just rage quit the rebalancing program instead of nerfing or keeping Dark Phoenix as is lol well hey at least they realized it was a lose lose situation no matter what they did so they're shutting down the whole thing instead. Here's the problem tho, there are currently champs that absolutely needed rebalancing specifically Maker, Cassandra, Nico, Dracula and High Evo what a shame.

It seems it's a combination of them not wanting to make a choice between nerfing or keeping Dark Phoenix as is, and too many champs either being slightly overturned or slightly under tuned this year. If they kept the rebalancing program there would've been no way for these numbnuts to include more buffs to old champs because half the champs this year need some small tweaks. We can thank the terrible champ design team they currently have for that, I don't remember Kabam missing the mark so much in past years when it came to new champ releases. We had some great ones this year sure but most of them were either more bs defenders or counters for those bs defenders that had the utility but not enough damage OR rotations that are hard to keep up ex: Maker, Cassandra, Dracula etc
