I was fighting this guy in BG my guess he pause the game during the last two Fights. The next season lock the pause Buton for the next battleground season so we can make it fair.

This season of battlegrounds has been a real eye opener. I’m not particularly good at this game. Moderately competent might be the best description. But I’ve realised there are people out there with 7* decks who make me look like MSD. It’s been a real ego boosting season 😁. I’m getting ready to come down next month with a crash.

The pause button isn't your enemy. You really just need to work on your BG skills. Not scoring more than 15k points, and placing VtD as a defender and accusing people of cheating because he gets destroyed , shows improvement on your part is needed.

Sacrifising 75% of the possible points you can get is not an advantage but a disadvantage. It's a scummy tactic of course, but not cheating.

It is extremely easy to beat pausers unless you screw up horrifically.

It's literally taking advantage of the scoring metric during afk to garner a win for doing nothing at all. It's cheating in my books.

BGs is a measurement of how well one Player performs versus how well the other performs. Regardless of whether someone does less than 15k or not, if you didn't fight at all, you don't deserve the win.

I wouldn't even post or complain after performing like that, just the idea of expecting to win with scores like that and hoping the opponent does worse against your defenders is pretty dumb.

Unfortunately the definition of cheating contradicts your statement. Your points are noted, I agree that its a scummy tactic but you cannot bend the definition of a word to fit your argument when it otherwise wouldn't.

This argument has been done to death already and I feel a lot of us (me included) are sick and tired of explaining why pausing harms you a lot more than it helps you.

Oh this isn't arguing. It's addressing ignorance whether it is intentional or not.

Whether or not he wants to understand is up to him and I don't really care for either option, I just had to reiterate the same regurgitated statements we have all been making about the effect of pausing on BG matchups because I am sick of seeing people spinning the narrative of a poor tactic into illegal gameplay.

And GW, you can be sure , after they finally put Skip button, something the trolls laughed that Kabam wont do, in the following seasons Kabam will do some action against this.

Or they get rid of pause button,or they will know with match data that someone paused for xxx seconds and he will be defeated.

This is cheat in the most utterly way.

Almost as sick and tired as I am of people telling the losing end it's their fault because they can't score more than 15k. About the same, actually.

There isn't an easy fix, and people take advantage of that fact. What I'm not about to do is gloss over the issue and pretend it's the fault of the one on the losing end.

He is a 10 year Vet player.. 1 round he scored 2k+ and the other did very poorly against a very basic defender.... The pause button is the least of his problems …

What needs to be said has already been spoken ad nauseum by me and others.

If you cannot understand it or are being completely ignorant then there's not much I can say to convince you of the substance of the matter or ask you to think practically.

I've lost rounds scoring 49k. Why don't I ever match pausers and those who can't beat them.
