Selection is defined as

the action or fact of carefully choosing someone or something as being the best or most suitable.

It seems we did indeed get a titan selector. I was able to select the reward I deemed best or most suitable for my progression (I selected a Titan crystal).

I just looked at the most recent selector for what you are thinking. The one in the Radiance store. You get to pick between actual champions. Do you want to know what it's called? "7-Star Champion Omega Selector"

If this Titan was called "Titan Champion Selector" I'd be on your side. It was not called that.

Do I follow basic understanding and common sense in real life? Yes, yes I do.

Somehow I'm still shocked by how many people complained about the titan selector. Multiple times on the stream (which you supposedly watched for 12 hours) they said it's a titan crystal for valiant players and shards for the other progressions.

And again, it's free! A lot of people just started the stream and walked away. There's not really a time commitment unless you wanted to watch it.

While I agree that a free Titan selector (select any champion in the Titan pool) is not a believable reward for merely watching a livestream (the icon itself is just a Titan, as opposed to a Titan Nexus or other type of crystal), I agree that the word "Selector" can imply different things, not just "progression based reward".

For example, the Symbiote Sector Bonus Event:

Top Milestone reward is: Bonus Selector (description does describe Progression based options).

Paragon+ Reward option: 7-star Incursions Selector (description does describe which champions you can pick). The word "champion" or "pool" is not in the name.

One Selector lets you choose a specific champion (7-star Incursions champion), and one Selector lets you choose a progression based reward.

The problem is Kabam using the same word (selector) in inconsistent ways.

Little bro needs to go back to reading class. A free Titan for keeping a stream going on in the background is pretty generous, but no, dude wants a selector for who is in the current titan, something Kabam has never done even for thousands of dollars.

I didn’t watch the stream and get a bunch of reunion crystals and a free Titan and i’m not bothered by it or complaining.

But it’s hard to imagine watching it to get a bunch of good “freebies” and then being able to find something wrong with that… 🤷‍♂️
