All I m doing is just smashing a buddy in bg. Even with his 1* roster n 3 sec fights just the transitions make every fight a minute or so. N I have to repeat that 10 times. The repeat again for him 10 times.

So 20 mins of absolute brain dead bs trash. y?

Been playing since 2018ish and this is the first time I’ve ever tried VtD. The 7* with the 7* relic is enormous fun to play and can kick some serious butt. I’m impressed.

I thought the requirement was use VTD to knockout opponent in battleground.. timeout with more health doesn't count..

Your friend has to place weaker defenders so the 6* VTD or 7* VTD can easily beat them.. I placed 3* attacker and defender on my deck.. I let the other person win.. if they knockout my defender.. and win both matches.. he gets points.. not sure if its 1pt or 2pt.

I haven’t gotten any objective milestones for the 6* relic.

I have VtD in my deck for at least 20 matches in the past 24 hours, I’ve drafted him and even Ko’ed a champ using him and still no objectives

I have 7* VTD in my deck. Won several matches but was only able to pick him 1 time and got lucky to win that fight. Only got 1 credit towards the BG objective so just having him in deck is not counting. 10 matches, really? I only had option 1 time to pick him to fight with. Ridiculous is what this is.

I defeated an opponent in an individual match and then the overall match with Venom the Duck. The opponent was a no show (i.e. they were defeated by defenders retaining 100% health). I did not get credit for the victory. Has anyone else seen this happen? I feel I should still get credit for this.

So here's the strategy do a friendly match against someone have them put all 1 and 2 stars in their deck you match 6 of theirs because you are going to ban 3 and they'll ban the other 3 that way that's 6 that will be banned for you and higher chance to draft VTD. You only need to win 1 round that's it. When it goes to round 2 you can forfeit BUT you must wait for it to go to round 2 to select defenders. Another tip for those trying to do it regular you HAVE to kill them not just win the round. If your opponent isn't KO'd you will not get credit.

Adding onto this, if you both pull VtD, have the first person place VtD on offense and win. For round two, the other person places VtD on offense on KO's. Then, you can exit out. You just need to win the individual match for the point, not the entire

I'm just curious, do you guys even want a relic that is restricted to only one champion that you don't even use cause the milestones are all directly for that Duck Egg relic no other relic will work with those stones🤷?

Actually, the Howard cosmic egg relic does make VTD better imo.. before you could get 10 abbreration charges [regen/ fury/ power gain/ precision/ armor up/ perfect block] but having to wait for rng to dish out your wanted buffs is slow and annoying [you could pick synergy champion to make certain buff pop up] build-up.. but once you get them.. you need sp3 to activate all the buffs thus missing out on the toxic armor debuff (he place on opponent armor ) VTD's sp2

the Howard Duck cosmic egg relic lowers the 10 charges to 6 or 7 but makes its easier to access VTD buff making him sort of easier to handle.. does he compare to Cull Obsidian.. nope, but he is sort of better and fun champion now.. I'm even thinking of rank3 him.. weird right?

Its easier to get the milestones with the help of someone from your alliance.. play friendly battleground with your best champions and highest rarity VTD 6* or 7* version and your friend has 1* 2* or 3* champions in his deck.. VTD needs to win via knockout or it doesn't count. other match needs to be knockout too. (Repeat 10x) now, this is the annoying part since VTD does not always show up.. either one needs to forfeit the match and do friendly battleground match until they get get all 10 milestones..

I sort of feel like a punching bag afterwards but hey.. for the good of the alliance.

Well for one main reason, because Kabam have decided that your Prestige is now what's important for obtaining higher Event Quest rewards, including Relic prestige.

And for those of us that don't have an account of already maxed out 6* battlecasts, getting a new one level 200 is higher for prestige than ANY of my other 6* relics so it makes a difference as to what kinds of rewards I'm able to get.

For that reason and that reason alone, it's enticing, and incredibly annoying because this is how they decided to give it to us.

Except then you're wasting relic resources on a 6* relic you'll literally never be able to use when in 3 weeks you'll have your 7* egg relic at r2 based on the side quest.

I'll just say if it was going to be 50 fights, it should've been anywhere aside from practice, not just BGs. Maybe exclude duels too. But BGs exclusive is a massive time waster. 50 fights anywhere gets more people using VtD and seeing how good his is now instead of just doing the minimum to get the 7* relic for prestige and throwing him back on the shelf.

Bruh you can't be serious lmfao that's barely going to be an extra 50 on you total prestige unless you decide to take the relic to max rank which why would you? It serves literally no purpose other than a tiny fraction of your prestige unlike other battlecasts and statcasts which actually do something. You're talking as if I wasn't an endgame player myself who's going for high prestige too. The main source of prestige are champs, you want a higher prestige you have to focus on r4 champs not r4 relics that's barely going to add 50-100 to your prestige and that's it. If prestige is what your after then waste your in game currency on r3s and r4s instead of alloys, if you're focusing on relics that's probably why your prestige is so low in the first place
