The way nobody mentioned mantis when talking bout good skill attackers irks me.

Im still waiting on 7star mantis otherwise she'd be a staple skill in my bgs deck.

Also, I have always thought Kingpin was overrated as an attacker🤷🏾

Being a 7 star isn't suddenly going to mean he gets more debuffs at the start of the fight or can access his daar without sacrificing his damage in 90% of matchups. I'm sure he'll be a great champion, but people seriously over value how consistent he is

I didn't imply Abs Man would still be a God, he won't, but overall he does hold more value than KP for me for the reasons I already mentioned which is why KP left decks before Abs Man when r3s became a thing.

Actually, I would kick Spiral out of my deck for Abs Man, he can handle both Serpent and Dark Phoenix so I wouldn't really need her anymore, AND he's a better defender. KP is really a pure offensive champ these days because anyone can take him, and every single mutant attacker released for the past two years can manhandle him because they punish purify so defensive value alone Abs is already better.

Offense, sure you kinda have a point and that's that the same argument I use against KP can be used against Abs to some extent, however the big difference here is KP handles one meta defender that can be beaten with pure skill. Abs Man counters two meta defenders that can't be beaten with skill alone, and that just so happen to be the two worst defenders to fight in the entire game currently.

So yes, Abs holds more value for me personally regardless. If I was strictly war focused then the answer might be different but because I'm focused on BGs more than in war then Abs it is.

Exactly people are forgetting that Inequity messes with his damage especially when maxed, so if you don't have a way to purify those rage debuffs and go into overload consistently you're just stuck with decent damage but nothing really crazy that would really make you say wow. Abs on the other hand doesn't rely on anything he can even handle incinerate immune champs as long as you can light intercept which isn't really too hard to do with him I've always found his animations very smooth compared to others which makes it hard to get intercepted when going for an intercept yourself.

So yeah I agree, KP not bad just nothing to really gawk at. Had they given him the iBom treatment with the inequity interaction tho we might be having a different conversation but as it is I don't think he'll have a huge impact in BGs.
