How are you going to fix the most recent mess up with the 7* basic

I saved for 7* basics. You told us the basic would update with the new titan. I opened 10 and not only got 0 of the new added champs ... not 1 was in the reel.

What can compensate 24 cristals, in my case, opened searching for glorious guardians and not having any chance to have any of them? We don't want compensation after compensation, we just want the game working as intended...

The scariest consideration is that they have and this happened still.

But honestly. The entire code and structure of the game (at least what we are able to see) is a giant web and mess so I can't get too mad about bugs. At this point it's just funny tbh

I totally forgot about Zola and they sent selectors. I’m remembering back to when Juggs and others were rotating out of the Titan and didn’t land in the basic when they were supposed to. Pretty sure they sent replacement crystals at that time.

I'm gonna be down voted to hell for this... But there really shouldn't be that much of a compensation here imo... The chance of getting the new 7*s were abysmal regardless. I'd say just send a normal 7* nexus to everyone and call it a day?

A couple reasons why it's a bad take.

First, players that opened 50 shouldn't get the same comp as players that opened 2. Identical comp for everyone is a nonstarter.

Second, while it is entirely possible that those of us who opened crystals wouldn't have gotten any of those champs, the fact is that we had no fair chance at them. To give players the fair chance they should've had there's one of two options - 1:1 comp, or a selector of just those champs for every X crystals based roughly on the percentage of the basic pool that those champions make up. Since it is close to 10%, a selector for everyone that opened crystals, plus one additional selector for every 10 crystals, is a pretty fair spot to land without wreaking havoc.

Neither of those are still fair and both of those still put certain players at a massive advantage over others.

It really is a no-win situation.

1:1 comp on all affected crystals after the changeover is not just reasonable, it's necessary. In my case, this would include 7*, Exalted, Valiant and Paragon Crystals. Then, over and above that, a single 7* Abyss Nexus or a Base Pool Selector to every Paragon or Valiant player regardless of whether or not they opened crystals.

The players that opened crystals should be made 100% whole, and the players that didn't "benefit" from the extra crystals should be compensated as well.

This is a mess of Kabam's own making, so over compensation is absolutely necessary.

Careful with your demands or Kabam might decide that hoarding shards for crystal pool updates is exploitative behavior because it is unreasonable to expect that it works correctly every time.

Crystals opened shouldn't affect the compensation, this isn't a recommendation this is an observation. Historically in similar situations everyone gets the same comp

so they are doing 1:1 replacement crystals but said that dupes dont count going forward does that mean starting after this comp or including this comp just wondering since it will determine if i get 1 or 2 replacement crystals

It only means that dupes from the affected time period won't count towards the yet-to-be-launched "Retroactive Economy Rewards" (ie in this instance ascension materials and such, but this is all stuff we still don't know much about and isn't being implemented until next year), but that the replacement crystals you open will count towards it.

These aren't anything you'll be able to tangibly "see" until it launches anyways. It doesn't affect any sig stones or titan shards that you received and then will be able to double up on. That part is pretty insane that they're just doing that…

I opened 34 basics and didn't get any of the new champs. Didn't see them in the reel.

Is it confirmed that they were bugged?

I have been holding onto my basics for months and months. Really a bummer that something like this where so many people waited months to open crystals just for them not to be correct. Would've been happier if they needed to delay it a few hours or even a day to fix before releasing rather than this. Hopefully they remedy this somehow.
