7 star Rank 5s on Battlegrounds

It has just occurred me that after banquet, top 600 players will have a new 7 star R5 on their roster, but as BGs is right now, they won't see the daylight, I mean, Who wouldn't ban it?

This way, it's very unfortunate to push higher when u won't be able to use it.

With that in mind, would make a lot of sense to me if we could 'lock' one champion from being banned on BGs.

It would also help players without R5s, as they would also 'protect' a solid R4 defender from being banned.

This option should be displayed on your deck and when match is set, your opponent won't be able to see the champ u locked out from ban.

What do you guys think??

They have talked about adding a whitelist to BGs, think it still might be coming in the near future

Couldn't care less. Facing all r4 decks anyway, and that's already a huge handicap (I only have 8). Assuming you have a full deck of r4s, facing opponent with only 1 r5 champ isn't as bad, and one could hope kabam will shift economy to help f2p catch up with r4s. Not much hope though, it feels like the gap is only increasing. But then again, you only care if you compete in bgs, and to compete you have to spend

I bet the first F2P R5 will be part of 9.4 or act 9 exploration rewards. Then they will be slowly trickled out over the year

That's a bad idea imagine seeing your opponent with Dark phoenix and a R6 punisher yeah if I can't ban them I just quit the game

Nico Minoru just melts Dark Phoenix and she's available on Titan so anyone can pull her.

You add her to your whitelist and you won't have to quit lol.
