Where Are the Major Iron Man Villains?

Hey Summoners,

I’ve been thinking about something lately: for a character as important to Marvel and the Contest as Iron Man, we’ve actually gotten very few major Iron Man villains or antagonists added to the game over the past nine years.

When I look through the roster, I can only really count four Iron Man–related antagonists:

Iron Patriot
MODOK
Ghost
Count Nefaria

All great additions — but considering Iron Man’s massive rogue’s gallery and how heavily he factors into Marvel media, it’s surprising how slow this area has grown.

Some notable Iron Man villains we still don’t have:

Mandarin
Crimson Dynamo
Titanium Man
Fin Fang Foom (highly unlikely)
Whiplash
Ultimo
Controller
Firepower
Living Laser
Zeke Stane

Iron Man is one of the original launch characters and a core Avenger in the Contest story, but his villain representation feels extremely small compared to Spider-Man, Hulk, X-Men, Guardians, and others who have gotten multiple new antagonists over the last few years.

Curious what everyone thinks.

I find your lack of Iron Monger disturbing.

MODOK actually debuted as a Captain America villain, and since it's MCU Ghost, she's an Ant-Man antagonist.

Which makes it even worse. But, yeah, Whiplash, Living Laser, Blizzard, Iron Monger, Madam Masque all deserve to be in the game and are do-able. Making CD and TM unique compared to every other person in a tin suit might be more difficult. Iron Monger's easier: Hulkbuster type character but with wrist guns and shoulder rocket launcher ala War Machine.

I'd like to have Mandarin in the game, but the character is considered controversial, so I'm not holding my breath on that.

Probably Zeke Stein and Living Laser have the potential of being interesting choices when it comes to design, animations, kit... I think only one between Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man can make it, as they're too much similar (I find the latter more iconic tbh).
