No…the veteran badge is only for players who've been playing since 2014

I think you get it when you reach 11 years

The veteran players now have 2 veteran titles and 1 of it says login during anniversary and account is 11 years at least

I think Kabam clarified last year (many of these Title posts had been necro'd by someone the last couple days) that the then “at least 10 years old” was meant to say “from the beginning”.

so even though it may now say “at least 11 years”, I think it's still the same situation, just for “original founding” players (?)

While it is shorthand for since launch, it is factually incorrect to say playing since 2014. I've been playing since 2014, but after launch, and do not have the badge.

Yes…but you don't get the 2nd Veteran title unless you have the OG Veteran title

Veteran tags should only be for players who have been here from the start or very near the start.

The Legend tag is already diluted and virtually meaningless. Game team shouldn’t do that to the Veteran tag unless they are prepared to offer something more exclusive to the earliest adopters.

I created my account and started playing one week after launch in December 2014. I never got a Veteran badge. So I assume you had to start playing on Day 1 to get the Veteran badge.

Who cares about titles. Seriously. I did create my account on the first week of launch, yes, I do have the badge. And I really couldn't care less. It's actually annoying that you can't remove VETERAN. And to be fair. Ok. I did create my account on the first week, but I've had a total of two and a half years of the game due to lack of time. I only have year 6-11 as profile pics, guess I did miss out on at least two of them.

With that said, icons and titles are such BS and says nothing about you.

The most sane in this post is the nerfing of legend. I used to dredd when facing a legend in BG, knowing that it took skill, stamina and perseverance to achieve. Nowadays it's most likely someone with luck in cards…

So those that could speedrun two low difficulties of EQ were more terrifying than those who flipped some cards?

That's how I feel about seeing the veteran tag. Nothing against those with it, but in the majority of cases they tend to be the least threatening players to face off against.

It’s a shame there isn’t something to indicate longevity (or perhaps also mental illness) by showing activity streaks. For example, consecutive days logged in or consecutive EQs explored.
