Will you go for Abs man or Kingpin during banquet?

The title itself is the question, which one do you think holds more value/ is better overall? Not just for Battlegrounds but animation, playstyle, story, design wise etc.

Definitely Kingpin. I miss using him!

I never got the hang of Absorbing Man but he is a **** on defense, especially with a regen node.

I’m going to try and grind enough units to get Abs man, he’s a beast and with his crazy resistances and damage. I think he’ll still handle a lot of the new meta champs.

I'll probably go with Abs Man. I technically like Kingpin more as a champion, but I'm not going to go into a full year of r4 and eventually r5 Hulklings in BGs without one of the absolute best Hulking counters in the game. I was grinding BGs on my alt account the other day and happened upon a 6* Hulking that my wee little baby account didn't have a proper counter for, and it was hell. I somehow won in the end, but it wasn't a clean or easy fight. All it did was remind me of just how much I missed using Abs Man for that fight back in the 6* days on my main account. As such, it's a pretty easy choice. I really like Kingpin and would love to have him as well, but I don't see him solving any immediate problems that I either have right now or anticipate to have once the Banquet is over.

Abs is the practical choice, but Kingpin is the fun choice. Fairly torn, but leaning Kingpin.

I’m wavering. Need another shrug champ so originally planned to get KP unless I pulled Mole God during Cyberweek. Then I did. Was still thinking I was going to go KP given the fun factor but now that I’m seeing all the sig stones in the milestones I’m thinking about Abs Man.

May waver and spend some $ if another selector isn’t too expensive on the web track. Particulary if I’m not having good luck with my first couple of keys.

I never understood why Kingpin was a great champ. I understood why Absman was a great defender, but never found him to be all that exciting as an attacker. I have both of the champs 6-star duped Rank 5 ascended. This is quite a coin toss, because I don't anticipate using either of them much. I think I'll still be flexing Okoye and Juggs.

Kingpin for sure. Poor skill class 7* roster needs as much help as it can get.

Probably Abs just because there are very few champs who can handle both Serpent and Dark Phoenix.

You can’t go wrong with either. Both are solid dual use and still relevant in different game modes.

I lean slightly more towards abs man because he counters annoying cosmics but I’d love to r4 kingpin and see some big numbers too.

KP for sure. The mystic class is absolutely stacked and the Skill class is lacking in talent in comparison. I'll take an A rated Skill over an A+ rated mystic.

I always thought Absorbing Man was an all around champion that happens to be a Mystic. Good defense, offense, reliable regen, immunities, etc. Most Mystics right now are literally built to counter cosmics and that's it. Was never a Kingpin player but all that being said, 6 star Abs saved me so much, even in act 9.
