Pre-Banquet thoughts - how you all feeling about it?

Now we've got the crystal contents and drop rates on top of the Solo, Realm and Alliance events detail, how is everyone feeling about Banquet? Pleased with the contents of the Jubilant crystal?

As a lower end Valiant, I'm personally really looking forward to it, nothing announced has felt underwhelming to me so far. Quite the opposite in fact.

My excitement levels are probably partially explained by the fact I currently have only 2 R4's, with the ability to take up 5 more as of today, plus at least 2 more once I've claimed all milestones. Been waiting as want to see who I pull from Founders Keepers, plus will have a minimum of 40 7* crystals to pop come Friday too.

Will prove to be quite the game changer for my account!

I'm hoping RNG works out well, but this year is an improvement from last year. Now waiting to see how things go once it starts. Wish you the best sir, perhaps if you have an epic banquet pull you could share here!

Definitely feels like an improvement doesn't it? On paper at least. I think the additional of the Jubilant crystal is a big win. Goes a long way to addressing the actual crystal openings feeling exceptionally underwhelming last year. I don't think I'd be disappointed with any of the possible pulls from that.

I’m very excited about the Jubilant crystal, with the prospect of 7-star trophy champs I’ve wanted for a while and some first appearance champs. Bit nervous of the drop-off after top 600, with 1 T5A only getting you a third of the way to R5, but that’s to be expected. I’m on 34 R4s so it’s kinda a go hard or go home situation.

Jubilant crystal looks amazing. Very happy with this as well as the grace system. Way better than last year and quite excited to see stretch realm rewards again this year. Overall a huge improvement (on paper at least) and Kabam have really listened to us I think.

I feel like putting a R6 in solo rewards is serious overkill but as it’s locked to a certain champion it seems all good. Got the popcorn ready to witness that chase. Hope Kabam’s phone lines are open for some more $100k transfers lol

The Jubilant Crystal looks exciting indeed and after 11 years, MCOC finally implemented Grace which is common in most Gacha games. We'll see if how well the crystal is once it drops.

Despite the feedback from last year, it was always going to be difficult to make the banquet crystal opening experience a homerun.

Because each crystal gets you points in three separate milestone events, with their own ranked rewards.

So for then to have each crystal also give you a ton of rewards inside seems impossible, unless the rewards budget is just thrown out of the window.

Which is why I think the jubilant crystal seems like a great idea. The regular banquet crystals still seem underwhelming, but if each person investing in this event gets a couple of these jubilant crystals and those crystals give something really good, it might really turn the crystal opening experience into a W.

I haven't checked what the drop rates on the jubilant crystal are, so if people get bad rewards from that as well, then it would suck like last year. But I think in theory it's a great idea, you can't change the drop rates on the top prizes in the normal crystal without messing up the economy, so you place a few of these top crystals and it lets people feel like they got some great stuff from the crystals too.

Ain't that the truth. I just take the RNG as part of the fun, but it should hopefully be better this time with the Grace crystals. I'm more hyped about the banquet box champions than anything

My thought on this, and CW, is to stop pre-emptively thinking of an opinion on unreleased stuff. It's too tiring to me. I'll just wait and see how it feels to open about 10 crystals and judge from there

Well, my alliance 100% our AW, granted we only had one battlegroup as we have a total of 10 members with 3 not able at the moment to participate for points and still ended up with 530 points. Doing the math we only need to do 14 more wars with this score and we will reach the top milestone.

So if your alliance has 30 members, you can get this even quicker. Despite some of the challenges of correcting the rewards for this Alliance Event it is definitely is a win.

For sure! The Jubilant crystal and the grace system being applied to them is a big win by itself in my opinion. I know Banquet is about the milestones more than the crystals, but last years Banquet was still disappointed from a Crystal opening perspective. I'm glad and appreciative that efforts have been made to address that.

Lets see if I feel the same once I've actually opened the crystals 🤣

Pretty disappointed by the crystals, but the milestones and stuff are nice. Torn because I don't really care for any of the chosen champions at all even though I know some of them are good.
