December Side Quest Info

So far this seems like another dumb, overly complicated side quest. I guess I'm missing something, again? I hope. Where do I find the instructions? The in game mail is piss poor about explaining what to do. I think it says we have to pickl the right opponent or something, but where do we find that out? So dumb if that';s the case. Why do we all need to go to Discord, Youtube or the forums all the time?

Instructions: claim the entry tokens -> enter the quest -> swipy swipy tappy tappy -> claim rewards -> repeat.

Use leader for man-thing

Mr negative for mojo and nefaria for dragon man.

You will get another 3 champs that one you can use for tech path.

OG iron man for Bishop

Bastion for Omega red and ironheart for Dust.

I found vague directions by KABAM in the special objectives tab of the game (thanks to Youtubers that pointed it out). Which is a dumb place to have it. They assume that everyone does every objective I guess. Just put the info in the announcement mail and make it easy for us….

The event is simple for the real rewards. While the objectives may take some thought to complete, the better question is why do you even care about a couple titles?

The whole point of the side quest is to figure out who to use for which Defender based on the clues.

Once you do the first 3 you get the next set of entries via the milestones.

if you read the solo objectives, AND read the title it gives, it’s super easy to puzzle out. also, process of elimination; there are only 3 opponents on the science path, which one looks like mulch? hmmmm…

You forget that this requires reading skills, which unfortunately is lacking in the majority of summoners.

*** Only the 1st 4 Mystery Objectives (for their Titles) released so far.

So if you want to continue past them now, without waiting for those Objectives to become available, you can do so (to someone else's question, no, doesn’t have to be the as-yet-unknown mystery champ correct lane if you are gonna just do them early for the Quest/Path rewards), but you'd forfeit the future Objective Titles that won't appear until later. * unless doing up to 3 re-runs (continue reading).

As for NOT OWNING any of the later-milestone champs, that is why there is an EXTRA 3 gate receipts in total built into this. So that you can (later when objectives appear), initially run a path with whomever you have available (or re-do other paths), in order to reach final Milestone (and get final 3 gate receipts). And then (once you now have those last champs), you can run them on the correct Target paths in which to claim the remaining Objective Titles for them.

Or for “trying” your own guess at some of the Hints, and being incorrect up to 3 times.

lot of good feedback/info in this thread, including one of the early comments by @JogiDas as to correct Mystery/Target pairings, too bad it all is in a thread that was started by such negative commentary by post creator at top.
