Best Champs for Questing + Act 9 for Returning Valiant

I'm Valiant and have a decent amount of 7-stars (Kushala, Silk, Chee'ilth, Shuri, just to name a few), but my 6-star pool is significantly more complete. Are there any champs I should upgrade, even at the 6* level, that will help in questing/PVE specifically? I might wanna finish Act 9 for the rewards, and other than that, the only thing I play nowadays is the monthly side quest. Below I put a few options of good 6*s I have (all awakened), but you can comment what you think. Thanks!

Nope, I would make it with the 7* at least for completion while you keep getting new 7* as they are the present and the future of the game as stated from kabam. If you invest in 6* consider that they will be useful for such a little amount of content and time and you could consider like you are wasting your catalysts. While the 7* are a safe investment. Specially if the resources as scarce, if you have plenty you can rank anyone. Check mcoc noob on yt , he has great guides. The comments of those videos usually have more options that the ones stated on the video. You would also want to check that.

I wouldn't R5 any 6-star champs unless it's with a 4-5 gem, even if you weren't already valiant and doing act 9... Unless you're really good with Ghost or really want a maxed out Dr. Doom for some reason (and don't already have them) - In that case, you do you.

There are still some good 6*s worth ranking, especially if you have resources like rank up and awakening gems, but it is usually better to choose 7*s over 6*s in general. My advice would be to rank up champs you need to get you past obstacles. For instance, if you need a cold snap immune champ and don’t have one ranked, rank one to get you past that node/defender.
