Personally, I don’t necessarily mind the gotcha box thing. If I could change it, I absolutely would get rid of it but it’s not like a dealbreaker for me. What I personally dislike and what I wish would change is the 50-50 split.

What I mean by this is there is clearly three champions that people want generally amongst the community and of those three, there are two people really really want, and of those two there is one clear cut number one desired champ that is drastically better than everybody else.

What I don’t like is that, and this is assuming that this isn’t some type of Markov Distribution and everything genuinely is 20 percent chance from the getco and not over a large distribution of pulls, if I could change anything, it would be a 60-40 distribution of good champs.

This means that at least one of your 3 guaranteed keys would hit a character that the general community would consider a win and not a select few of dedicated players whom have a personal interest in a character or who are paradoxically uninterested in the characters, but are hyper fixated on mechanics exclusively.

In short, make it so that four out of the six champs are cool.

It Guaranteed that you get one of each champion before your start dupping them. There are 6 champions, so...guess what you get ALL 6 champions.

While I understand where you coming from, firstly by doing it essentially breaking the rule that Kabam have been follow for 11 years (and the same thing that RNG angry players accused Kabam of, having mix weight on champion pull).

Secondly, while again I can see that the majority of players might view 3 certain champions over other, that doesn't mean that is who all players want to pull. The best about this game is it diversity of players and champions. I have seen a players with only 2 or 3 R4 champs and one of them was Gambit, and you know what good one them on ranking who they want. That is what we as a community always encourage (looking at you CMM, Psycho Man and Ms Marvel)

People might complaint about Valkerie, but she got the 22nd Highest Prestige, extremely unique. KarateMike said X23 is one of his favourite, extremely fun to play. Andy (top 10 BG player) R4 Jane.

Kabam have done their best to create a certain of level of guarantees in a game that based on RNG. If people really want the guaranteed Hulkling than spend money to get 6 keys. It is like me spending 15k units, then complain that 7* Punisher drop is too low and I deserve a guaranteed 7 Punisher because I spend 15k units. 🤣

In this situation it is the players perspective and expectations that need to change. If people want even more guarantees, spend money.

And yes, I also don't have Hulkling either, but like @Usagicassidy and many other, we just take it on the chin and move forward. I now focusing on who to R4, Karolina, Galan (might use the awaken gem I saved for Hulkling on him) or Knull (might use those Cosmic sig I saved for Hulkling). There are plenty of other champs people can focus on.

i don’t think they would give him a buff. He is still a beast and there was a reason why they pivoted heavily away from standard prowess on mutants. He was just destroying all of them.

Just say you have a hard time with reversed controls. Him not being reverse control immune has no bearing on his ability to melt mutants that aren't shock immune.

That's what I said I'm not reversed control immune, it messes with my brain badly. On the other hand every robot should be reverse control immune cause if they got shut down by armour shatter or got magnetised its different thing. But they should be always reverse control immune.

Actually it's very easy to reverse controls of robots. They all run on programs, just change their forward and backward action mechanisms, boom controls are reversed!

If you feel bad about missing, just remember that the game is very different than it was 3-4 years ago and content is designed to value roster depth more than a few OP champs.

If you missed out on Scorpion, it's sucks but it's really no big deal because other champs do similar things…Ham, Cassie Lang, Spiderwoman, Lizard…

It's not like it was 4-7 years ago where a unique pull was make or break.

How so?

-EQ can't be mowed down by a few OP champs anymore.

-There are multiple counters for almost every problem.

-These champs are still very good but they don't have the same impact they once did because the game is very different. I had a r4 s200 Nick on day 1 and he's been an average addition to my deck at best. I got Torch in July but barely used him because other science champs solve more problems.

-If you missed out on Hulkling there are other champs that cover his immunities and or his old matchups like Onslaught, Photon, and FAM much better.

-If you want someone for hazard shift, you've got a choice between Absman and Kingpin. You can even rank Valkyrie for it.

-If you need an unstoppable counter and missed Valk, you can use Shang Chi or Chee.

-Missed Scorpion? Np…Ham, Cassie, Lizard, and Spiderwoman.

It's not like it used to be, there are multiple options for almost everything. Don't get swayed by the FOMO.
