Like at least 2 players here, the RNG got me: Valkyrie, X23, Jane.

The fact is that Scorpion and Hulkling are above the 4 others. And in my opinion Scorpion is even above Hulkling.

Valkyrie isn’t anymore the queen she was. The fall is due to the ramp up mechanic.

It is still underwhelming for everybody (players and Dev team) to see a reworked champion hitting the wall. Here we have 2 crashes the same month. Since her presentation I knew Jane would be a bad pull: nothing special in her reworked kit. X23 change is interesting but not powerful enough in terms of utility (more regen ?, less frenzy buffs to be activated ?). I think the ramp up will put a brake for her, like Valkyrie.

By the way, the players vote, the Dev team thinks about the change. We could hace the same issue with another result of vote.

I have had the luck of getting Punisher in a Jubilant. Like X23, I am not sure of his interest in the game. Especially I don’t think he is a level 4 defender.

I cross the fingers to get something better in my last Jubilant (key, selector).

what is the copium in this thread. Nobody even comes close to what scorpion can do apart from probably abs man. He’s like a build your character starter pack at the start of the game. Choose your immunities choose your DOT. He’s amazing.

I'm a little confused as to what other system you would like to see in its place? Because I quite like the box system on the whole. It's much, much better than a simple crystal containing these six champions that you'd get three of during the course of the event.

Sure, three selectors would be better than the box system, but we're never going to get three selectors in an event like this, so that's kind of moot.

So what's the alternative?

I also don't think it's entirely true to say that there are three trash champions and three god-tier champs in the box. Personally, Valkyrie was one of my most wanted pulls out of it. I think she's incredibly valuable to have access to, so I'm very happy that I pulled her. I'm also quite happy to have pulled X-23, even if I will admit to not knowing exactly when I'd rank her up. She'll probably go to r3 as soon as I can take her up, but I have at least one Mutant champ (Cassandra Nova) that I want to r4 before her.

I didn't pull Jane Foster, but I've seen some insane stuff that she can do from some CCP members. She hits like a truck nowadays.

I'm sad that I didn't manage to get Nimrod, but it is what it is. Hopefully there'll be a way to pick him (or any other out of those) sometime next year, similar to how I managed to pick up Deadpool XF from the February sale after I missed him during last Banquet.

If Kabam were gonna put 2 rework champs into a boxkey gated pool along with 4 banger champs, they shoulda made those rework champs just as banger so we wouldn’t have this resentment from the entire player base of these awful pulls they’re getting. Feel really bad for everyone who didn’t get who they wanted, so sorry guys.

As much as it sucks to miss out on the scorp or hulkling, OP suggesting the box method needs to be changed is a bit crazy. Would you rather they go back to a crystal where you could have pulled x23 or jane 3 times?

Simple solution: make sure all 6 champs in the box are equally good and useful. X-23 should not be in the box.

Agree. X-23 is by far the worst and shouldnt have been included.

Jane is actually really good but is highly overshadowed by 2 of the best mystics in the history of the game coming out this year too

While it is true that Scorp Nimrod and Hulking are on another level compared to the other three, what makes you think these should be guaranteed without any sort of spending? Yes they're giving f2p players a chance to get them but it absolutely should be that way because there always has to be an advantage for people who spend. That's how sales have worked for the most part, that's how they should continue to work because it's what keeps the game alive.

I agree, these boxes suck. I got 5 keys….and no Hulkling, the champ I wanted most of all…I'm so pissed.

Kabam, I have an idea. Take down a list of names of the people whining and instead of the boxes as we have now, just give them crystals so they can pull the same champ many times and they'll beg you for the boxes back the year after.

I agree that x23 is underwhelming compared to the others, but how each player views a champ as good is subjective and based on what their needs are for a champ. If they made them all equally good people will still whine because maybe they're lacking in skill champs and didn't pull the skill champ from the box.
