Added milestones for banquet

So there was a top end and once you scored enough points the rest was bonus for doing that. Now that point total was scrapped and you just have to keep spending to get beyond kingpin or absorbing man? Weak. That’s not how this was even presented yesterday and today I wake up and see those changes? Greed at its finest

is it? Because they added extra milestones without needing extra points to get the stuff beyond kingpin. Now after the second addition they changed it so you have to have more points for every single milestone. So no, it’s not the same

@Just2310 no I’m mad that instead of keeping the point total the same and those being extra for the people that opened “x” amount that they changed that and made it so you have to keep spending beyond the original threshold and now it requires more points every step up. That’s BS

The milestones after the selector were always higher minimums. Nothing has changed.

TBF, the “Community Stretch Goal” question mark has the description that “all rewards beyond this point are bonuses for exceeding expectations.”

Bonus usually implies not needing to do more work, so I can see the disconnect.

But, everywhere else it is understood that you would need to pay to earn the extra milestones.

@RevHeresy usually when they add milestones they don’t make us have to open more beyond a certain point to get that stuff. Instead of keeping the threshold the same for the extra millstones you now need more points to get each milestone.

OP - Is there a chance you opened beyond the top milestone last year and they added milestones that were already where you had spent? That’s the only way I can fathom that you have gotten this incorrect. These stretch milestones are working exactly as they did before

@Chuck_Finley I thought they stayed the same. It is possible I just didn’t remember correctly. But even yesterday they were the same til they added this second set. I need to be clear cause there’s a few comments in here that branch out further than I intended to have people think.

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN THE BEST BANQUET EVER. PERIOD! I have zero issue as a whole with this event. My only gripe was the extra points needed for stretch goals. I really did believe these were supposed to be bonuses for hitting the original threshold. Other than that I don’t have a complaint. The event is great and has actually been good to me.

I'm fairly sure op is right, doesn't impact me but last year the minimum point requirement did cap off even when adding more milestones. Doesn't matter though
