Deathless Regret - 5K Units Too Early: A Deathless Disappointment
I know a lot of people appreciated Kabam putting Deathless at the top of the Realm Event Banquet, but to me it feels like a slap in the face—if nothing else, the timing is awful.
I did what most normal F2P summoners did and picked up three pieces of each 7★ Deathless as they were released. Since each Deathless has five pieces and there are four characters, that left me with two pieces remaining for each one—eight pieces total. I was able to earn two of those through challenges, which brought me down to six.
I spent all my Radiance on the five pieces I could buy, leaving just one piece. One. And the only option left was to spend units—5,000 of them. Why a single piece costs 5K units, who knows. That’s roughly $150 USD for one Deathless piece.
So I paid it. A month ago.
Now Kabam is offering a full Deathless champion for around $250, plus all the extra rewards that come with it. That’s a huge discount by comparison. Meanwhile, I’m down 5K units that I absolutely could have used here instead.
FML.
This is incredibly disappointing. I honestly can’t believe I spent money with Kabam just to feel like I got punished for it. It doesn’t feel like bad luck—it feels like a betrayal.
