Progression title explanation please

Does anyone know what the exact requirements are for progressing from Uncollected to Cavalier and Cavalier to Thronebreaker?
Some how I have progressed to Cavalier even tho I do not meet the requirements shown by Kabam. So what are ALL the hidden requirements?

Right there in your screenshot. That's the special requirement, though you only have three. Don't know if 7* counts as you have some high ranked 7*

I do have some high 7 stars. But it doesnt say that 7 stars affect progression titles unless its for paragon. But you cant skip progressions so that doesnt count

So, yes, just meeting the Rankup of Champs has enabled a lot of people to advance progressions without actually doing the ACT quests anymore.

(****EDIT, SORRY, for all of us not reading either and just saying it is either Acts -or- champs). Ok, see that you only shows 3 champs at Rank 3+ (and requirements say you need 5 champs). Unless you had other filtering in your display that caused some to not show in your pic)

Yeah I think what people are missing is OP is Cavalier. He's showing he does NOT have 5x rank 3 6 stars, nor finished 6.1.6.

That said, the 7 stars must have counted, just like how have 4 rank 3s and a rank 4 6 star would count towards the "5" required. That said, I don't recall Kabam every acknowledging 7 stars counting towards cav like this.

in game, I see your top profile is showing you have 2 champs at 7* r3.

while the “equivalent PI Rating” rankings between Star versions may not (in and of itself) count. Like a 7*r1 would NOT count towards 6*r3, even though they produce about the same strength champ. Or 7*r2 towards 6*r4.

It could entirely be true that the SAME RANK (not Rating strength equiv, but actual Rank ## itself) of a higher Star Version, may indeed count.

(as in “Rank 3 or higher, of any champs Star 6 or higher”)

Yes, some reason my 7 stars have counted. But i cant figure out how because it still doesnt add up for 5 six stars. I had 3 seven stars at r2 or higher and 3 six stars at r3 or higher. Yet I was still uncollected.

OK let me get more specific to what happen

I was uncollected with: 1 r3 seven star and 2 r2 seven stars. As well as; 1 r5 six star, 1 r4 six star, and 1 r3 six star.

I took 1 of those 2 r2 seven stars to r3. Then and only then did I became Cavalier.

So if 7 stars affect title progression for uncollected to Cavalier… id like to know what those exact requirements are. I'd also like to know what 7 star rank ups would affect my title to go from a Cavalier to Thronebreaker title? Or is this all a glitch in the system and I was not supposed to move up titles since I dont have 5 r3 six stars

I see ur point, however I feel this is untrue as a 7 star r1 would count as a 6 star r3... I already had about 9 seven stars while still uncollected. So I should have become cav a while ago if that was the case.

Either its a glitch in the system or there is a hidden requirement regarding maybe.. 7 star rank 3s? Idk lol

That certainly lends credence to the idea that the requirement is actually “r3 or higher, 6* or higher” - since you unlocked cav when you had 5 champs meeting that requirement. Presumably Kabam assumed when they implemented that rule that anyone getting r3 7*s would already be cav or higher…which would have been the case outside of banquet or maybe massive deal whaling.

Interesting, so the "R3" is what maybe triggered the increase to progression. 2 seven stars r3 and 3 six stars r3. Makes 5 r3ed champs across the board.

If that is true then that means if I was to r4 three of my 7 star champs, could result in going from Cavalier to Thronebreaker. Or a combination of 7 and 6 with mostly 7 stars. Interesting

As to whether the “OR GREATER STAR VERSION” would also apply to TB as they have confirmed it does for CAV, is that really what would otherwise change your decision to rankup some 7* to R4 ?

As if those 7*r4 would be pointless if they DID NOT help let you reach CAV ?

Not quite sure why you wouldn’t have the resources to just do the 6* versions anyways to r4, or even earlier r3 prior to all this, if you seem to have stuff to do all the 7* that way.

And, I think SUPPORT has enough on their plate, that they don't need to be bothered with additional queries along these lines (maybe the initial clarification was interesting, but why bog them down with any more, especially since there is a LOT of Timely ACTUAL Banquet stuff that they are dealing with from lots of people)

I had no intentions on becoming Cavalier. I definitely do not want to be Thronebreaker. Ingame, it doesnt say that 7 stars affect u in getting Cavalier and Thronebreaker. It also says for paragon that u can not skip titles. So this told me that I can freely earn and rank up 7 stars. Thus, allowing me to still play with powerful champions but not have all the "responsibilities" that come with say valient players.
