Kabam Is Clearly Tired of Printing Money This Banquet

Anyone else think that the most recent milestone reveal of an SBC after the generic AG is lame AF? The higher the milestones and the more shekels they rake in off the Banquet, the crazier the rewards should get, not a 300 unit SBC that may just poop out some shards. The Deathless selector was essentially worth 25k units, but here we are many milestones later being offered 300 units of equivalent as an incentive. That's just pathetic.

Kabam appears to be done with the Banquet if this is their offering for making even more money. I guess they are tired of printing money, which they could easily do by replacing that lame-ass milestone before we get to it with something of actual guaranteed value that is worth the players spending on.

Please tell me that the rest of the milestones aren't just more of this, like, Kabam could make a pothead more money by putting something of actual value in these milestones, not SBC's or, say, titan shards as in previous milestones that most people do not want at this point, especially given how many players are at this point just holding in to titan shards because they have everything they want out of this titan pool.

Upvote this post to get their attention, we may be able to nudge them in the right direction here and save the last leg of the Banquet here (and Kabam will make more money by providing valuable milestones instead of 300 unit trash).

You’re missing the pattern of the rewards, each one isn’t better than the last, there seems to be a few filler ones and then a larger reward at the end of that.

Look at the titan shards and then the titan nexus.

Also, this one is only 35 million points higher rather than the near 80 of the other ones. Additionally, claiming this reward will speed up the next as the opening will go towards the overall points.

My guess is that they are holding the final milestone(s) for the New Year, but needed to put up something since we're close to hitting the awakening gem. We'll probably do so a few hours before midnight. By putting a SBGC there, they're (I hope) basically just buying time. One SBGC is worth 400 points while every tier jump has been 280 points, so that crystal will propel people to the next tier pretty much automatically. It's not the most exciting reward, but it's also not something that drains you of your progress (aside from 80 points).

Of course, this is just me speculating. It's possible that this is how Kabam decided to cap off the event, but I very much doubt so.

So we should just be content with being offered lower value rewards? We should be fine with mediocrity? No, Kabam can do better here and they should, and it is financially in their best interest to do so. The rankup materials were fine and useful for most people immediately versus the SBC that most likely will give you some 5* champs out of gala valiants or some other meager rewards. 7* sig stones are also much more immediately useful and higher guaranteed value. There's lots of options that aren't cheap.

Another way to ask this question may be, does the solitary SBC add to the excitement of the Banquet or decrease player enthusiasm for the event? For me, I see that and am disenthused.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't this SBC count as a non-purchased crystal? Thus, it would only net someone 100 pts, not 400 if you purchased/opened one.

The real question is how much more points would everyone put in if there was something better than a 300 unit SBC for the milestone? I'd bet the players will put in more points with better rewards being offered than the SBC, everything else held constant. That's sort of the point here is they are sabotaging themselves with that milestone instead of dropping in, say, 50 generic 7* sig stones or just about anything else. Maybe some 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 rankup gems. Just about anything other than what they just did. Even if the fifth new milestone is something really good, they could still do better than offering up what they just did.

Kabam doesn't have to offer up crumbs here.

Ah yes here comes the toxic positivity. To hit this milestone people paid money. Expecting actual value isn't baseless entitlement, it is a reasonable expectation to get something better the more one spends. And resorting to personal insults tends to indicate that you agree with the logic of my point but cannot come up with an actual reason to disagree with me.

Glassback provided a logical counter to my statement, which I still believe we should get more value here on regardless of the major milestones but his logic was sound even though we disagree.

And I get your point entirely, I woke up and saw the next milestone and felt a big meh as it isn’t a great reward on its own, but I have a feeling something good is coming.
