Banquet events extended?

I could have sworn this morning all the banquet events were set to expire at noon cst today. However just looking in game now, it seems as if they've been extended another 4 days. Is this the case? Can anyone point me to an official announcement?

Does this extension also mean that people who joined alliances well into the banquet events get an extension (so to speak) on being able to qualify as part of said alliance?

Its at the top of the forums. The event isn't not extended technically. Only to fix the bugs and let those who were effected, get their rewards and points.

They did extend the EVENT DURATION.

Which does lead to what OP asked about the 14-day requirement for being in an alliance.

Answer might depend on what the exact wording of such Red Banner message was for people who did NOT join until AFTER event started.

The ones who just had to wait had a countdown timer indicating their 14-day mark.

But what did TOO-LATE people see ?? Did their screen show “NOT ELIGIBLE AT ALL, SORRY, JOINED TOO LATE” (or some such msg) ?? Or did it have a same 14-day countdown but which 14-days would have been PAST the original expiration today ? And what are they seeing now ??

Given that the bundles went away a few days ago, and you can't buy Crystals, it would depend on if they had a stock pile they just happened to be waiting to open. The extension didn't happen until sometime yesterday. It's highly unlikely anyone who wasn't going to make the 14 cutoff would have anything to open

My issue is that they acknowledge in the post that if they can’t “fix” the problem it will go out in in-game mail. So no one (theoretically) is going to lose anything regardless.

That means we’re essentially delaying rank rewards for the entire community, when if they can’t correct it normally, they have an alternative plan. So just do that and don’t delay everything else.

It’s my opinion, and it could be wrong, I might be missing something. But I just don’t know why we’d delay all rewards (and if people open crystals (I know they’re not being sold, but the realm event seems to be ticking up so people are opening), possibly ranking) for the sake of a solution that already exists in a different form.

Close it, and fix the issue with an in-game mail. That seems a viable and reasonable solution.

the 4-day Extension got shortened to little over 1 day from original (so just 21.5 hrs remain now). Looks like they fixed it (was a separate post asking people to check to see if it worked for them).
so rewards won't be pushed back quite as long as thought (hopefully).

Was hoping some alliance members who joined past the cutoff would get a possible extension to be eligible for alliance rewards. Oh well... wishful thinking I guess.
