Sunday Daily Quest Locked to One Day?

What's the point of the Sunday Daily Quest being locked to one day? It's pretty annoying if you're not able to get on the game Sunday. Fine to only make it doable once per week, but why does it have to be locked to one day?

think OP is referring to the fact that you do the other quest the rest of the week to earn ENTRY TICKETS for the 7th day (different) quest.

And so, even if you've earned the 4 Tickets needed (4+ out of the earlier 6 days, so those you can actually miss 2 days and be fine), you have to do the “once-a-week” culmination of them ONLY on the 24 Hours that starts on Sunday (depending your timezone).

US/Canada can still get on in following Morning (Monday) to do them, and Europe's time would allow you to do them even much further into Monday afternoon, etc.

*However (even though you have portions of 2 days), it's not unreasonable to be able to ask that you can FINISH the week's worth of questing, without being limited to 1 day. **But, I don't know how they would do that while still allowing next “regular day” quest to already start and be able to start earning more Tickets, if you still want the prior tickets to be available, and NOT overlap with one another. I guess since the Tickets are capped at 4 Max, it might be OK to allow 2 days time for the (7th day) quest (even if the next 1st day would then overlap one day).

You get 1 day to do daily quest, OP wants it open on day 5-7 since you only need 4 tickets but Kabam probably doesn't have the tech to limit players to 1 run?

Bcos tickets are sold in store too so multi runs are possible if open on multiple days

Not exactly, but I do appreciate the intelligent response. I was more thinking keep the "Sunday" quest always available because you can only get 4 tickets per week as is anyway. So it would be nice if you could just do the "Sunday" quest as soon as you get the 4 tickets, which again, would still only be once a week, since you can only get 4 entry tickets a week.. Just frustrating if you're not able to get on Sunday, or forget, etc.. Just doesn't seem to be any reason to lock it to one day, since you can't do it more than once a week regardless.

You can get 6 tickets a week from doing daily quest, you are limit to holding 4

So if you spend the 4 tickets, you can collect 2 more tickets from daily quest

If you buy more tickets in store, you can do the quest everyday if it is available everyday, getting 7 times the rewards if you spend money

Is it worth buying tickets to do the quest everyday? Some may find it worthwhile but Kabam certainly doesn't intend for that to happen

if you can hit the milestones in the DSE on Sunday, then this is a non-issue. For a quest that is best auto-run, who cares. It is working right now and it’s always best to have Kabam not touch something that is currently working.

if you read the details from the initial launch, the extra tickets are so you don’t have to do every quest every day in order to get access to the Sunday/weekly event…if they made it so you’d need 6 instead of 4, ppl would complain that they’re being forced to log on or get punished for missing a day.

it wasn’t meant to be something completed right away, this whole new format is a combination of the older daily quests and the daily solo objectives…I doubt the majority wants to wait for Level Up to come around or have to rerun EQ paths for Event Quest Completion just to get these rewards.

If you can do the other daily quests, you can find a couple minutes to log in on Sunday to autofight the weekly quest…if not, then it’s not that important to you

Because they want to show reports to investors or big bosses or smbd else with daily users numbers, but they don't have any nice content that would naturally attract you as much. Personally I'd love it being stretched over couple of days. I'd love to have autocomplete for daily quests even more. Or at very least 2 paths of daily quests merged into one. These autofight quests are so stupid, and they put units from monthly eq in it, which is the worst part. But hey, when you phone auto plays it, and then does it again, they get to show like a 20 minutes of "activity", and who cares if players are bored to death with it

I believe the OP''s primary issue is you should be able to do it at any time of the week if you have the entry fee, but I suspect the flippancy is because it's intended to be a once-a-week thing.

The irony is, within the time it took to post and reply to this Thread, one could have done it on Auto easily.

I'm aware that it was only meant to be a once a week thing, and wouldn't expect them to change that of course, but why not just have the quest available throughout the week, then disable after you complete it and until it resets. So basically, aquire 4 tickets, do the quest, quest disables until the reset. You'd still have to do the same 4 daily's to get the tickets, and still only be able to do the weekly once a week.

And you're right, that would be ironic, if I actually posted and replied to this thread instead of doing the quest. Unfortunately that's not the case.. I have no problem doing the quest, but there have been times I was too busy to get to it on a Sunday, or just plain forgot, and it would just be nice to have the opportunity to do it throughout the week.

The only tricky part might be the ticket management. Having to juggle the 4 tickets from the previous week while trying to collect another 4 for the next one all at once could get a bit messy. If they can fix the overlap, it'd be a solid update …

I agree with OP. A "Sunday" quest in US/Canada is a Monday quest for several other countries and quite frankly Sunday night/Monday first half is the worst time you can schedule a quest that is once a week.

As it is essentially a weekly quest at this stage, Kabam should just unlock it every Monday morning but players can access it only when they have collected 4 supply intels. If you keep up witj the week, you can collect a supply intel daily (Monday - Thursday), giving you 3 days to complete the quest or if you miss a week or have more than 4 intel, then you can do it on any of the 7 days of the week.

It doesnt make sense currently to force people to be online for the quest on a Monday. And before people ask, it gives t6cc, which is a limiting resource for even valiants looking to create a large r3 roster.
