7* VALKYRIE NERFED?

Hey guys, what is going on?
Am I the only one who thinks this, or is Valkyrie not performing as expected? I remember Valkyrie 6s as a character who literally broke down walls, and now that she's finally out as 7s, she seems like a mid character to me. What's going on? Has she been nerfed or rebalanced before she came out as a 7*? Does anyone know anything?

Yes, her instant bleeds do not match her description in her kit. I have her at rank 3, signature 140, but her 4,700 instant bleeds stated in her kit is of only 2,500 with 3 pierce buffs active and the fury from SP2.

Me and a few people on here have done the tests and yes, the math ain't mathing in her kit. I also don't remember her regular attacks being stronger than her block hits, at least not by a lot.

Even with block penetration stat focus and 3 pierce buffs she appears to be getting around a third of the listed value. Also noticing she randomly inflicts no damage on a few hits into block here and there.

Kabam needs to fix this shi. I hope they don’t just ignore it. Didn’t R4 sig 200 Valkyrie, just for her to be bugged or silently nerfed.

Not to be that guy, but I pulled Val and then got her as a first appearance pull in the realm milestones(really eanted nimrod but eh rng is rng). Messed around with her in rol as a rank 1 and was disappointed. So I didn't rank her up. It boggles my mind that people rank champs without testing them out at base level first. Why do y'all do this?

@Blue_Eyed_Thing You aren’t gonna believe me when I tell you this… but Valkyrie was a 2,3,4,5 & 6* before she was a 7*… so most of us actually knew how amazing she was before she became a 7*… She does insane damage as a 6*, so that shouldn’t chance now that she’s a 7*. She’s bugged, so now we know why she’s not performing as she should. It’s very simple g.

This sounds dumb, but has anyone tested her today? I messed around with her at r3 a few days ago and totally felt like something was off. However, I took her back to RoL today and she was cracking.

@Tairique_turay0 Still seems like a quick rol run through with the seven star would have saved you some headache now. When champs jump up to seven stars things change, heck sometimes they don't really scale up well.

As I said, its not just her 7 star not scaling well compared to the 5 and 6 star, her pierce buffs aren't giving the damage it says it should. A r4 pierce bleed should do around 5k damage, but its averaging about 2-3k even with the Valkyrie relic and the additional passive pierce buffs (only time I got close is with 2 passive pierces, along with the original 3 regular buffs). The numbers are simply wrong.

Why do you, in 2026, still not understand the difference between a question vs a statement?

Folks generally ask a question in the absence of information and in this case Kabam would then look into it, come up with an answer, etc. Only then would we know whether she's bugged or not.

Since the Cat is out of the Bag, I have also seen talks about Hulkling getting a silent nerf.

They had an additional fury in the bottom screenshot but still did less dmg (18k instead of 23k)

Call it nerf or bug, whatever. That’s not the point and anyway it was a question not a statement. She’s obviously not performing as expected. And btw, I have the same feeling for other banquet champs. @Demonzfyre

Why are people sensitive about using nerf vs bug? It has to do with assumed intent. A nerf is an intentional action to have a result ne a less powerful champion. A silent nerf is an manipulative and intentional to try to get something done, with the hope no one notices

A bug is an intentional consequence of change. A bug would not be from ill intent. A bug would not be made based on the intention to manipulate.

The words are not inter changeable.

So do some here really think Kabam paid employees to manipulate and silently nerf Valk (and Hulkling) pierce buffs? Like some big silent conspiracy to bring misery to the players of the game?

Or is it a bug in the code from some other changes?

My money is on a bug.

Definitely seems bugged. My ascended 6 star without valk relic is doing more direct damage than my rank 4 7 star with the 6 star relic. I really hope this gets some attention and the fix won’t take ages to be implemented. I am one of those who blindly ranked her up, because I just enjoyed her so much back in the day.

Wasn't serious in mine, was playing a long after noticing a certain white knight on the thread making a big fuss about it.

Pierce being bugged is a logical possibility though since both Valk and Hulkling have it and seem to be underperforming

A month ago Kabam said the game is not ready for 7* hulking, cgr etc, then after a month what did they do to make the game ready for hulking,, kingpin, Valk? There's definitely something off with these new released op champs

I don't know how her kit interacts with bulwark but it increases her block penetration which causes the 5* to exceed that value stated in her kit and both almost meet the kits value after they reach 4 Pierce or 3 Pierce and 3 Bulwark

Hulking works differently in every match up as you can't have the same number of buffs and he gains more attack with every unique buff on him so he looks nerfed in the below screenshots because he has only one buff technically 3 (unblockable,fury,pierce) but the above looks god tier because he has more buffs (unblockable,fury,pierce,regeneration, aptitude,bulwark) to increase his attack rating
