Would Mystique break the game?

Imagine getting a 7* Mystique and being able to morph into any other champion with their all their abilities Shang Tsung (Mortal Kombat) style.
I don't even know how the morphing part would work?

She has control over her own cells but she can't copy powers,at best she could copy basic effects of the class she's coping and for her morph powers the most practical would be her turning into NPCs

Skrull, Adaptoids, Henchpool,Symbioid, that kind of stuff

she wouldn't copy part of other people power but basic parts of the kit of the class of the form you chosen, Mutant form she doesn't need and Tech form wouldn't make sense

It entirely depends on the design. That's half the reason she doesn't exist. They haven't been able to come up with a design they feel does her justice.

I don't think it would break the game, it would be extremely complex to execute, probably go thru months and months of testing and adjusting even after release. Probably a bigger headache than an exciting champ.

They are taking months to separate Classic EQ from Elder, imagine releasing a champ with the ability to mimic other champs.

seriously… what is the hold up on the EQ? Having to do this classic version to get to Elder is such a time and energy drain. Is this the last month we have to complete classic to unlock Elder?

I have my suspicion and its related to the reward structure. All other quests are designed for Easy = X rewards, Hard = Y rewards. This current structure has a percentage based increase and a prestige based + rewards. They don't want people to double dip and do both difficulties.

Mystique can't copy abilities so no, she wouldn't break the game. Her actual kit if it was anyway comic accurate would just be a mutant black widow.

Mystique is like Black Window with the ability to shape shift. I'm not sure why some players think she can copy powers. The Marvel Character you are looking for is Copycat. So OP should want Kabam to introduce Copycat to the game.

Or Morph. Although he can only copy physical powers (Archangel's wings and flight, Hulk's size and strength) not things like Cyclops' optic blasts or Bishop's energy absorption and redirection.

Cause she gotta have something other than a plain shape shift lol, its not like the defender is going to say "What?! You are me!! I am confused!! Do I hit myself? What to do!!!"

Super Adaptoid copies powers, so does Mimic.

Mystique in MCOC would probably stay in her usual form and maybe on special attack animations will morph into other characters but would still use martial arts and/or firearms for attack. Same would probably go for the Chameleon.

The way I can see this working is if she morphs into a set specific character during her specials - maybe someone like Puck during sp1 and Skin during sp2, Puck is much, much smaller, and Skin as stretchy skin sort of like Ms Marvel. They could add disorient type of abilities because they confuse the defender. Her sp3 could be her doing assassin-like acrobatics and weaving in and out of the character while transforming into multiple different X-Men (ones already in the game so their in-game model is already built).

I chose Puck and Skin because I feel like they'd need to be characters that won't likely end up existing in the game as their own characters. I feel like the game just wouldn't work if she could morph into…anyone. Just the limitations of the game and her character.

But I feel like a really unique mechanic of the game is that on quest maps, she would appear as any other character, but only when you enter the fight do you find out it's her - but that would really only be able to be fun on like a special quest, because if you had that happening all the time, people would grow really annoyed cause you need very specific counters some times and it would just frustrate players.

It would take too much for them to make it so she morphs into any character in game. But a sp 3 animation showing her morph the x men characters would be fun. As for abilities it would be nice if she could detect movement like counter evade and miss

Mutant Jessica Jones would be more fitting,no black widow in this game have a kit even close to espionage or infiltration

She can look like anyone but doesn’t have their abilities so what’s the point of that
