BIGGER THINGS NOT PAYING OUT FOR NEW ACCOUNT CHALLENGE

Just recently started a new account challenge and got progressed enough to enter Allaince War - problem is even after placing defense in time before war and now playing war - I cannot get Bigger Thing rewards!!! Question is have I progressed enough as I have progressed thru Act 4 Maestro boss or do I need to wait till the conclusion for this first instance of AW where I actively participated?,…

I have whatever time is left in season which is the final war for context and will be going for next uncollected progression title before the final war ends in case that is crux of my issue that I am simply not progressed enough!,… anyone with any further insights appreciate your response

When did you join the alliance you're in?

I am the leader of my alliance and I was able to kick an inactive member mid- banquet because I was still recruiting on Reddit and I successfully replaced a member and the Reddit recruit was able to successfully join my alliance, compete in war and get the Bigger thing alliance war rewards, matter of fact that was why this new recruit specifically wanted to join to get whatever rewards that were on offer where he could contribute- BTW,… this bigger thing event ran beside banquet but was not considered part of banquet so no I’m not coming at this from the point of trying to get anything from banquet events. It was because of this later recruitment I saw an opportunity to be assertive and give the new account challenge another go round.,,, mind you I have six alts acquired over my MCOC career as I started game right after launch and pumping out alts is my own personal version of Alliance bases- it’s where I found necessity after years of learning it’s far better to have control over your Alliance participation, got tired of getting my main account kicked for next prestige giant, or ornery alliance that want to control your account during the first prestige wars and after but suddenly now there’s prestige 30 all over again. I say all that to say I am happy with all my new account challenges, not really worried about the alts as my main account is awesome but the alts for filling out at least 1 BG along with my girlfriends and stepson’s couple accounts has been priceless rather than putting up with a whole lotta blowhard Meta rats - no offense to them,… I just felt like I saw the light early and now my little family group is just shy of Gold 6 AW. Solo content is coming where I can now get radiance shortly and am very happy where my MCOC career has taken me over the last 11 years and I’m here to yap about it this one time.

Okay, let me rephrase my question. When did you bring this alt into the alliance?

@NARWH4L I just created this account since I got big boy iPad for gaming over this last day or 2

I assure you this has nothing to do with rewards availability- I should be able to get these rewards because the Bigger Thing Alliance Event is a standalone event, I recruited a new member because of this and he was able to get rewards without 14 day grace before, during or after Banquet started as far I can see. My recruit pointed this out to me and again I successfully recruited this member and they were rewarded!!

So there's a general rule for these types of events - you can only claim rewards that are earned AFTER you've joined the alliance. If you just got that alt into the alliance within the last couple days, then it is safe for me to assume that the alliance already finished all of the milestones.

There are two different types of milestone events - peak milestone and regular milestone. In peak, every gets the highest reward achieved. Since that reward is not issued until the expiration of the event, everyone that is in the alliance in time to contribute will get the rewards. In a regular milestone event, everyone claims the rewards as they come. Once a reward milestone has been reached, anyone that joins after the fact is ineligible for that milestone.

That is why your alt is not able to claim these rewards.
