If you're fighting in ranked then you should expect to match against people in the same rank bracket. Most players got an incredible roster boost from banquet so January's bound to be brutal

I've actually been matched with players one level up from me b4. Not that often but on few occasion. I think kabam should do this like arena, give us 3 options and let us choose.

THey should also let us see who we're fighting b4 we have 2 decide whether or not to use protective shield.

I hate having to use it then match with someone worse.

Its a ranked gamemode, iv never understood this complaint. @doctorb Having a choice of oppontents is impossible. In arena's ur up against 3 random champs from a random account in bg's ur up against someone else in real time, not possible!

Going against 30 R4 200’s is awesome. I mean ALL of BG’s must only be those guys because that’s all I fight. It’s ridiculous

@Jts2010 Do you want the same rewards as the whale accounts or do you want lower rewards? Because you cant ask for easier fights but still expect the same rewards……

right now it's not even skill, it's who has the whale account with all the cheese counters for this god awful meta

not everyone with whale accounts are skilled.. and not having higher rank 7* guarantee a loss.. but if you get matched against players who are skilled and own most of the top rated attackers, defenders, dual threats at high rank and sig200 to boot.. the chances of winning diminish greatly.. worse part is sometimes even draft rng is totally against you and you don't even get your best champions to counter them.. its no longer skill issues.. its hoping they mess up and you are able to hold out for the dub… after banquet, the disparity has greatly changed..

Before the start of banquet, i had 4x rank4 7* champion.. after banquet, I could get 7x rank4 but instead I focus on rank3 since it difficult to sig them up.. while my alliance mates grew their accounts to 12x to 15x rank4.. some are active in battleground than me and they say its more often to get matched vs accounts with 20x to 30x rank4 sig200 with Deathless Thanos, Dark Phoenix, Yelena Belova, Bullseye, Serpent.. ya know the tough fight we usually ban.. but with such an account, who do you ban.. its just hoping draft rng doesn't allow them to get their best..

I had a few matches vs these accounts and only one where my opponent is less than mine.. i won against him.. but it wasn't an overwhelming lop sided match.. he just ban the correct champions.

Question is do you just forfeit if you see its an overwhelming lopsided disparity between you and your opponents deck?

Fair matchmaking doesnt mean you only ever get matches with people around your skill level

it has nothing to do with skill. It’s **** matchmaking. It geared to the whale so they can reap all the benefits and keep spending money on the game. That’s it. There is no skill aspect. If it were fair matchmaking them you would be match with players that match your current prestige some decent percentage of the time. I only fight players with at least 10k more prestige than myself. How could this possibly be good matchmaking. It’s not. Not even close

I thougth the implementation of the Unranked BG was what all the smaller accounts wanted. Unranked BG fights are based on similar accounts, so if you don't like facing big accounts in the Ranked BG, Kabam introduced an alternative BG game mode made just for you. What seems to be the issue here.

Every season, it's awful. The only thing worse than matchmaking is the counterintuitive meta which contradicts the spirit of the game by requiring you hit into block to win in a timely fashion
