Solo coliseum

I don't get this coliseum. Havok never hits me and I just keep dying no matter what I do. It's impossible to get bars down because his buff just instantly kills me no matter who I use. I have 2 lousy points. If you don't have r4 7 stars it's not happening. Good for big accounts, terrible for everyone else. Why did they make him the first boss. This is crazy 😂. Maybe I just really suck.

Try asking for help instead of complaining. None of my 7r4 or 7r3 were helpful. I had to use a 6* and got it done.

If you enter solo coliseum and Havok page, you can literally see two icons above his picture. One tells you the nodes and the other tells you which champs have been most chosen by the community to combat him. It even tells you the average number of bars of health that the selected champ has managed to remove off Havok in each fight.

If you choose to ignore all that and enter a fight not even knowing how to counter Havok's kit, then you really dont deserve the rewards. The rewards are among the best in the game, it will definitely not be easy to get. Even then the effort to rewards ratio here is actually good albeit a bit too grindy than most people like.

I watched YouTube videos and did exactly what some of them did and still nothing. I used my infamous iron man and it went nothing like the YouTube videos. I usually destroy havok with no problem but not here and yes I know who to use but it's just not working for me here

Sigh, reading the nodes would help ..

When you parry you get armor ups, when you dex the armor ups get switched to true strike. You need to parry often to keep the armor ups so you don't explode…

Infamous Iron Man was a good counter but you need to be careful because he can lose the armour up and take the burst damage. Most of us went with Future Ant Man because you can pile on multiple armour ups to be safe. Also if Havok acts funny with shallow evades, block breaks or instant recoveries, there is the glancing and stun to protect health points. There were at least 3 ocassions where a mistake from me brought me down to 5% life and i still managed to clear 3 more health bars of Havok after that while hovering between 1-5% health.

FYI, all of the above was from a 6r4 Future Ant Man that i then ranked to 6r5a just to get more points per fight. 4-5 clearances became normal even with mistakes. I could have got much higher consis with a 7r4 but dont have him as a 7*

Use Future antman.
Parry.
Dont Dex.
Dont get hit by hard attack.
Knock him down to remove protection, then SP2.
Repeat.

If you are new to complicated nodes i recommended watching Mcoc noob he will break it down more thoroughly. As for Havok generally you want to have An armor as you know but There is a node that takes away your armor if you dex so you can get detonated with plasma that's the point.

So its a juggling act of keep baiting his sp2, if its unblockable you can parry it the sp2 because there is a node that allows you to. There is another node which is crumbling armor which applies a armor break. Combining the Dex nodes and armor break node you keep losing armor that's why you are dying.

You can parry to get an armor but keep in mind if you have armor break on you from the node you wont get armor if you parry.

Reparry and block baiting heavy punish is your biggest help. With idoom you can just lock him down get sp2 get havok to near sp3, heavy get

Certainly don't need rank 4 7*, I got wrecked using my rank 4 sig 160 Bastian because I couldn't keep up the armour

I'm going to be honest, this solo coliseum definitely seemed a little harder than the ally ones. But, no this isn't necessarily ONLY meant for large accounts. Day 1, i tried to force bastion to work and i just couldn't get it down. I ended up switching to idoom and just did the perma power lock and I was able to get all the points pretty quickly.

It is a bit of a roster check, but there's a good 5-6 champs that can get 5-8 bars pretty decently per run. It's also a bit of a skill check. I had to FINALLY learn to reliably reparry, which i never felt was absolutely necessary until now while having to untrain myself to always dex everything, especially when my parry fails.

I do agree energy seems a bit high… but looking back now, there was a LOT of time to get to 80 points. Once you get it down, and everything clicks (not having to non stop thinking about the nodes and havok's abilities), it becomes pretty easy.

The truth is most champions can do a decent job if you’re not good at FAntman - I did fairly well just using a high rank Overseer. You have to parry instead of dexing to keep the armor buff and prevent the plasma detonation; if you’re consistently baiting L2s it might be safe to dex if you don’t have many debuffs.
