Dimensional Arcade - Muspelheim Impossible

Has anyone managed to actually finish this one?

I'm sure it's a skill issue, but I can't finish this one to save myself. In particular there's a repeated sequence of a swipe down and a tap&hold combo that I cannot seen to nail no matter how quickly I'm doing it...do you have to start the swipe so early that you almost miss it just to get the tap & hold on time?

Sigh, just have to wait for the updated option to remove the swipes to become active

It is ridiculously hard and I'm struggling too. This is coming from someone that was able to clear Through the fire and the flames by Dragonforce in Guitar Hero back in the day, so I wouldn't say its a skill issue, more of faulty design. The intentions were good, just a lot of kinks to fix unfortunately

Maybe it’s me or my phone, but the timing of the music, enemies, and animations of the hits all feel just a little disjointed. It’s like the uncanny valley of rhythm - it doesn’t quite line up perfectly and it throws me off a ton. Not to mention the swipe timing can be brutal, especially fast swiping.

Alternate / test game modes like this should be quick and easy to get rewards. You should incentivise people to try it, not require people to slog through it again and again.

This mode is a double whammy for me. I'm color blind, so I struggle with the enemies and knowing whether to swipe up or down (I can tell, but it takes a moment that this mode doesn't allow) and I don't like having the sound on, as I usually play when watching TV or movies. Not a fan.

I cleared it just fine so it's definitely not impossible but I've played alot of rhythm games.

It also isnt a skill issue. If you haven't played rhythm games before, especially ones that get very hectic it's a very steep learning curve they have implemented here combined with lag, dropped inputs, and bugs.

I'd recommend holding off on doing impossible as long as you can so you can practice first and not waste entry tokens

I'm not touching this mode again until the update comes out except to get the "Clear # stages as X Champion" milestones and I'll just get those on the easy mode.

I tried to do it with Guillotine first and lost pretty quickly. I switched to Dazzler and I cleared it first try, if you’re still having trouble I would recommend trying that.

Completed it with Dazzler.

That swipe down (red guy) and hold (big guy) was difficult to nail. I felt like it had to be done a fraction of a second earlier than on previous stages which was hard to do because usually there was something coming from the other side first

Dumbest game mode to add to this game. If I want to play tapping game then I would download such ones and play that. Why do they add such annoying games mode? Who is coming with this dumb ideas? Because of units that I played this Dumbest game mode. Kabam can't even focus on one thing like fixing bugs and other issues within the game,but they add more unwanted game mode and create more issues. Majority of players play it for units. They really took out the fun of playing this game. Now it becomes chores.

That's why I just press the buttons before the notes even hit critical. Usally I get 4 stars by just inputting the buttons slightly earlier since I dont care about crits and could care less about that extra star. If anything that'll mean ill just have to play like one or two extra days to get enough star muiltipliers for those units goals

Yeah I tried with Dazzler so good to know I was on the right track! :D

I might give it another go today because my ego wants me to finish it before we can disable the swipe enemies

I faced a lot more dropped inputs (swipes not registering) on the Musepelheim stage.

Manage to clear it with Dazzler though - the health regen saved me a couple times.

I'm just waiting for the new build to roll out. No swipe + PC controls will make it so much easier to build and maintain combos.

It's really chill on PC. Got impossible down 3 times now with Punk.
