New dimensional arcade build live and actually worse

So it looks like the new build of mcoc ddr is live but it's bugged. Any time you have to hold down for an extended time you have an extra attack when you release so it's a guaranteed miss and combo reset......c'mon guys

I keep missing hits I know I'm landing on the easiest danger room disco runs. This is definitely not improved over the old version. Just shut this garbage mode down and send us all the stuff we should have been able to earn if you had been able to program this thing to work correctly.

Yeah not surprised. If none of us play it, low engagement numbers mean this never comes back. Keep it in mind.

Removing the difficult inputs, leads to the simpler ones now randomly missing. Now we know the random misses were a clever feature to make it feel like the missed inputs of the real game. Neat!

Appears to work for my friend on an iPhone. I'm on an s25 ultra. Would think that would have been on the devices to test.....

Once I realized this was happening I released the hold sooner than normal and it works. Sucks to do but works.

Would be nice if things just worked correctly around here 😂

It must be a device thing. Cause I just checked and the performance is definitely better on iPhone. Not that it’s all of a sudden a great game mode, but there is less input delay

People saying it’s related to the device are wrong. I am playing on an iPhone 17 Pro Max and having the same issues mentioned above. Combos breaking without missing a hit and the extra hit after the long presses.

I also wonder why my combo was broken despite I didn’t miss one hit at the end, no such issue before update. I just play test the easiest mode and disable swipe/simultaneous attack.

At least.. (but yes, still glitches, like getting hit because screen never showed you the opponent coming, but you “felt” them hitting you and losing combo)

Objectives (2/10) FIXED.

And without Simultaneous Left/Right, and no Up/Down, I could at least advance far enough to unlock final (4th) Room (which also unlocks Guilly at same time).

——Which FYI…..-

**( for those that hadn’t been able to get that far because could only do lowest Room and Champ because of Up/Down issues previously. And I always was wondering what “complete prior room on Expert meant, because you never saw the word Expert anywhere)

…Each Room has a previously unseen 2nd difficulty level to it, only unlocked once you can finish Room #3 (on it's lower, which is Advanced), then it unlocks back to beginning Room #1 with a 2nd Difficuly to it. Continue, and each next room will reveal it's 2nd Difficulty.

So Easy - Easy - Advanced - (locked #4)

Loops back around to a 2nd difficulty layer to choose from for each room again..

Advanced - Expert - Expert - (and finally unlocked Muspelheim Expert)

As noted in another thread, it seems like “misses” are calculated in regardless of whether you actually miss. This of course affects score and combo.

Will also add that objective for clearing Advanced stage isn’t registering in some cases.
